I love 3:11 in particular when you realize that they’re technically “sisters.” But as someone in the comments mentioned, “Katana hates Mileena, and Mileena’s crazy.” So seeing them get along with each other for a few seconds was pretty heartwarming!

I loved the simplicity of Scorpion's. The angry throwing of his spear whilst shouting *"GET OVER HERE!"* until the teddy bear is in his grasp. He then lets out the soft sigh of content and is just vibing with his cuddly teddy.

I feel like some of them having that anticlimactic, "... huh." factor to them is kinda part of their charm in a way. Like the fatalities are so explosive (literally and figuratively) that having Shang Tsung just pull out a rainbow, and that's it, was a nice change of pace for people who played the game and had to watch all the fatalities over and over for the... year and a half? or so? between when the game came out and when they put in Friendships. I mean of course there are "in your face" friendships too (Raiden's, Noob's, etc) but if you're playing people online, the friendships are a nice way to say "Good fight!" as opposed to "haha I planted my eggsack in your corpse and then my insect baby ripped you into pieces" Aaaaanyway. My favourite detail in these Friendships is the character consistency that the Joker is so unimaginably evil that he can't do anything kind for anybody, which even the Mortal Kombat characters can, but Batman has to save you from the Joker. It's essentially Batmans Friendship featuring the Joker.

I feel yall didn't understand Kitanas friendship. Kitana and the "girl" that ran out was Mileen. They're sisters but lore wise hate each other and usually always fighting and trying to kill one another. Kitanas friendship showing them just doing something wholesome and sweet together is very endearing and cute. Especially when they mess up and just laugh and hug each other affectionately. I love it. 💘

Kitana and her hate or despise each other cause of how each other thinks and does things and Mileena is a horrible person/thing in which is a clone/abomination in Kitanas eyes so that's why it's funny because they nvr get along and that this would nvr happen 🤣 ever
Plus it took a year+ to put Mileena in the game so that was also the other joke behind this which was to put her in the game but not actually (yet) lol

Needed this info. What we missed is that Mileena wasn’t originally in the fight. Didn’t know who backstory either. This was a nice little inside joke to the fans and we can appreciate that. Still wouldn’t be our favorite but it is no longer lame like we first thought 😝

I never read any of the comics or saw the movie or anything so I wouldn't know but I want to learn more since I play him a lot in the game, he just looks so good on the cover I think it's my favorite, gotta say Cassie and Johnny I love them both but they have probably the lamest friendship animations in the game, not a fan of Lui Kang's or Robocop's either

I feel yall didn't understand Kitanas friendship. Kitana and the "girl" that ran out was Mileen. They're sisters but lore wise hate each other and usually always fighting and trying to kill one another. Kitanas friendship showing them just doing something wholesome and sweet together is very endearing and cute. Especially when they mess up and just laugh and hug each other affectionately. I love it. 💘
Yeah we didn’t get that aspect of it and also didn’t realize that Mileena wasn’t the original person Kitana was fighting. So at first we thought it was the original uploaded who made the girls play party cake. Although it would be funny if Kitana played patty cake with every person 😂

Noob Saibot was the original Sub-Zero in the lore but Quan Chi made Scorpion think that Bi Han (Noob Saibot before he became Noob Saibot) was the one who killed his family and clan while it was Quan Chi. After this happened, Scorpion killed Bi Han and Quan Chi restored him turning him into an evil shadow called Noob Saibot. In all games he does not do much, if you wonder why remember his name xD
