No, it was converted already when I bought it 30 years ago. it has 1975 Dodge power wagon 3/4 ton frame and running gear and motor. it gets about 15 mpg. it needs a lot of attention, so I'm considering dropping a bunch of $$$ in it now. so now I have a question for you :)
Like I said I'm ready to pile some money into it. what I want to do is add the Cummins conversion 5.9 early version? the question is, do I need to box the frame? or would it be easier to build a new heavy duty frame for it? the Cummins is a lot of weight and torque to just try it without a heavy mod. what you think?
