Shooting film with friends is really, imo, one of the better ways of getting into photography. In general, I got really into it from my professor during my last semester in college, then I was reintroduced to an old friend I haven't seen since first grade, completely had gotten into photography, rekindled that old friendship, then slowly got more of our friends into film and photography....I am happy to say we have infected approximately 12 of our friends now. Sorry, we're driving the price of cameras up now. Yeah man, I dig the whole community as well. I keep commenting on everyones videos how my other channel is going to be up and running soon, but I'm still sorting out my audio issues, I now have the computer, the video camera, the scanner, and, over two hundred cameras but still, I'm being held back by a lack of microphone that doesn't sound like a whale screaming underwater.....Soon....nice to see you all just chilling, I think I'll go for a walk in the neighborhood and shoot something with my new Canonflex RM. Peace, -Shane
amplifierheadache 200 CAMERAS!! Wow Can’t wait to see your videos and yeah I learned film photography along with my friends and 2 years later today we are still great friends who shoot film
@@KodakBoy ironically I think over half of them were given to me by various relatives and neighbors. The others are a mix between lucky trips to various thrift shops, antique malls and yard sales. Only a small portion of them were curated by choice. (The Leicas were definitely bought consciously.) - Shane
Love the idea of your meeting and nerding. Unfortunately I am located in Berlin, Germany. Here I don’t know one person who shares my interest. Though I am definitely not the only one. But well if I ever make it to your city and you’re doing such a photo meeting, I will definitely join it. :)
Matt Day, does your friend like the Fuji gw690ii. I’m interested in that camera but have not been able to find a reasonable review. Great vid and work!
is portra 160 easy to shoot? I bought a pack and now im kicking myself for not getting portra 400 instead. I think i like the colours of 400 more because they are more saturated and appear "more lively" as the colours seem to pop out more. Wondering what i can do with the port 160 now.. as its hardly ever sunny and bright in vancouver these days
We need an endgame like crossover where Matt Day, Willem Verbeeck, Corey Wolfenbarger, Joe Greer, George of Negative Feedback, and all the other film bros of youtube come together to shoot in a massive photowalk
hey I'm so interested in medium format... I'm shooting 35mm for one and a half year now. I asked lastly in a photoshop about buying a camera for medium format, and they told me that it was not good for street photography, as I see you doing the opposite, what can you say about this? (I'm not really interested in shooting in studio) thanks for your videos Simon
I am a large format portrait photographer, and sometimes I want to do these kind of streetphotography more (Belgium) but I always feel uninspired I guess.
Your name is (phonetic) Willem Verbayk not Verbeek, in Dutch, which is the language in north Belgium aka Flemish hehehehee Shoot MY friends ???? Okay "with", I get it !!
Thanks for showing us the Chillicothe ways Matt, hopefully do this again soon 👊🏼✨
The ‘dude’ and ‘bro’ counter is off the chart in this one
Moving to Chillicothe who’s in

Corey Wolfenbarger You know it needs to happen.

Loved two of my fav you tubers getting together what a bromance!
It can be weird to say that, but I don’t know exactly why : I can feel the kindness in the four of you! You seem like great people :)
migrr rr that makes me happy to hear that!
You guys really inspire me to take photos of small home town areas. Bought me a Fujica GSW 690 and am looking forward to trying it out.
You guys should do photo walks more often, that was a good episode!
Oskar Krawczyk I agree with this
But the FOMO is real
I sure do like those portraits of each of you. Looks like a fun kind of meet up.
This is the only video i saw an aggressive willem lmao
Love how much fun y’all are having here. Had me cracking up a few times.
It's really awesome how similar all of your aesthetic sensibilities are and also so nice that you're all able to get together and do these meetups.
They really seem like good people, great video Matt.
Truly enjoy watching all three videos of you guys together.
Chillicothe = chilly coffee
It's great to see these cool guys together for shooting photos. Keep going. We'll continue to follow you all!.
Imagine George from Neg Feedback also joining the photo squad. That would be epic.

All the film bros in the east coast getting together, Feelsgoodman! Definitely missing that out here in LA! Great video!
Ronald Rivera get all the west coast film bros together

This is awesome! I think Chillicothe needs to become the new home of film photography.
Today will be a good day great video from Matt and I just got back some negatives in the mail. can't beat that now.

Really love the vibe of this one. The music really compliments the visuals. Great stuff!

oh man I love this video streak by my favorite youtubers
3:48, did he just put the RB on the floor?! This hurts to see and hear!!
Jeppe yup this really is insane !
So what? The floor will have an extra dent or two. Not the end of the world.
3:50 drops the brand new RB67 camera on the floor ? 😫

LIBICU812 no Im just a dude with a camera
this is awesome! great video Matt!
Loving the video. Would love to link up. I'm new to photography
what an awesome collab
If these guys were a gang, I’d imagine they’d be quite efficient.
And very polite
Come to KS plz
Love this man..
Willem is the prime example that you don't have to be a good photographer to be successful as a social media photo personality.
Matt Day, does your friend like the Fuji gw690ii. I’m interested in that camera but have not been able to find a reasonable review. Great vid and work!
Willem is starting to look like ‘Jason Mewes’ in his all dark get up and Beanie. It’s a good look
Should i develop my own film or give it out for developing??
Definitely going to have to make a pilgrimage to the new Matt Day World Headquarters!
Jermbug_RVA Anytime, man!
Jermbug_RVA I shall see you there!
You know I am down to come down to shoot with you let me know when you got a weekend available after the holidays.
Chillicothe seems the place to be! would be great to meetup someday! cheers from way over the pond
i enjoy watching you all collaborate :)

What camera did you use at the 2:50 mark? These are my favorite shots you took of the gang.
What color film was Corey using? Hp5 in color??? What does that mean
Chill'o'Coffee, I'll have that too.
Willem sent me here !

Lmao is that the coin laundry I've been seeing all these videos about on youtube
Hahahaha, yes! That video was in my recommended feed and I was like “uhh... that’s here in town?”
Yeayy
Wow, what a large...... Camera you have.
All your photos of downtown Chilicothe seem empty and deserted. Is that an accurate representation?
Chillicothe is gonna need an Aiport now that all these TH-camrs keep showing up.
niceeee. mr day ...
The dude at 4:37 might have a future in photography.
Bryan Birks Maaaaybe. Haha
Bryan Birks yes I see the potential
...♥
the only thing i know about chillichothe is the unsolved murders of a number of women and matt day
MARVEL AVENGERS!!!
To pronounce Verbeeck correctly, you actually have to say Verbake.
Уголовники!
0:07 When you are introducing everyone, they are all out of focus.
First
Your name is (phonetic) Willem Verbayk not Verbeek, in Dutch, which is the language in north Belgium aka Flemish hehehehee
