I think it's funny how Stalker still appeared in response of killing a boss, I audibly said "bro, you have a kid, why are you here?".

Which was given too us by Hunhow who said he wouldn't want us to use Jade, and our reason for fighting Parvos is "so he doesn't use jades power for military purposes" whilst using jades power for military purposes........
@@Nezha_Main I don't remember if that's the case. But also the Jade that the player builds is not the same as the one who died. It's just a copy of her.
@@millenniumfox4814 yes but we are still using her, even if a copy it's a copy made from her, and the stalker will leave if you play as her, probably because it's a sad reminder for him and he can't hurt her or her copies, it's emotional trauma, Parvos wants to use the motes left behind by her to get better military power that he can use for his needs, but we are using the motes too in order to use her powers, we are no different from Parvos.
I feel like if Umbra was in this at all he would put a proud hand on Stalkers shoulder.

I feel like DE will definitely show a poll result in a future dev stream of how many players chose which name on their first playthrough

I have 2 accounts did the quest on both at same time picked both names cause it didn’t feel right to pick just 1

I only picked Sirius since it's probably the name Jade picked for the baby, and it felt like the right choice in my mind

Something funny I noticed, you can totally bypass all the difficulty in the levels by remaining invisible, not nothing new but funny considering the stalker is an enemy of the Tenno and he literally chose to do nothing to the enemies during the quest, and still succeed, just some funny headcanon that the tenno enemy treats people better than the tenno lol
Honestly, it kinda makes me wonder who at DE is having a kid.
Fun facts:
In Greek mythology, Orion was a hunter placed amongst the stars by the goddess Artemis (or the god Zeus in some versions of the story). Orion was the son of Poseidon and Euryale. During Orion's birth, he was granted great powers and was quite a large person of stature. Not too mention, he was the most handsome of earthborn men. edit: He was able to walk on water as well.
When Orion was killed by a scorpion that Gaia sent to punish him, Orion was transferred through out the stars by Artemis or Zeus hence the constellation. There, Orion spent the rest of his celestial life with his dog Sirius that accompanied him on hunts. Sirius refers to the brightest star in the night sky and is usually called the "Dog Star," the most prominent star in the constellation Canis Major.
There are many versions to these stories, yet this is the one that has the most "evidence" to it. Just felt like sharing :D
edit: Left some info out so it wouldn't be an essay. But for those who are intrigued, here's the reason Orion was killed:
Gaia was the goddess of all life on Earth. She was extremely displeased by Orion's intentions as a hunter considering that he vowed to kill every animal on Earth. No one is sure if this was vow was made in front of her or if it was by word of mouth. She sent Scorpio (the scorpion mentioned earlier) to punish him for his actions but Orion didn't stand a chance and was stung to death. Scorpio was awarded by Gaia for his victory and was put in the night sky, now known as the "Scorpius Constellation." Scorpius can be seen chasing Orion through the sky during the year. It is said that Orion is on the run from spring to winter, making winter the only season he can hunt in peace.

The baby will we extremely important since its a new species (says in the codex)
Also, naming the kid “Sirius” has like a “redemption” meaning while “Orion” is literally hunter so in the moment you choose the name your also deciding the future of Stalker

god i loved the part when that gattling gun was shooting at the stalker and when they realised he held a baby they stopped and let him walk to his ship they had blocked off and fly away. corpus have some heart aswell.
I think we forget most corpus are just dudes. Like that’s their job.

We know the baby will be important at some point. One, practically the whole quest had something to do with baby, and Jade since it was her quest. And we got to name the baby, and we don't make choices lightly.
Hopefully the baby will have future game story implications.

Sirius - The Brightest Star In the Night Sky.
I love how tied to the theme of stars this update is.
Jade is representitive of light for either life, or death, just how stars can be life giving or not so.
Jade named her child Sirius after the brightest star.
Jades Motes are committed to the sun to become one with it allowing her light to continue shining.
Stalker like Orion is a hunter, but like the constellation, it cannot shine without the light of the stars, just like Jades light in his life.
This quest is one of the few quests in ANY game that I genuinely had to just sit in silence for a couple minutes
It was really sweet
Imagine if they make another warframe with this one.
A mix between stalker's assasin habilities and jade's support habilities

Sirius translates to " The brightest light in the sky " ( yes, I googled it ) , while Orion refers to the Hunter constelation, which is a name Stalker would choose. Sirius is what Jade would've named the Child.

Just as you said Sirius does means "The brightest star in the night sky" while Orion not only references to the constellation of the hunter but also means "Heaven's light" indicating that Jade may have wished for her baby to be a beacon or guide for his father while Sorren found a new found light in his darkness. Both loving in their own way.
I was thinking Stalker hates himself, and wouldnt want his child to be like him.
Jade meant everything to him, so Stalker would name the child with what his wife would have wanted.
reminds me of Kratos and Atreus (although kratos went with the name he picked instead of his wife's choice)

Before, it was like a strained, raspy voice. Now it's all "grrr, I'm scary, errr."
His voice sounds like he's happy and at peace but with the other name he sounds neutral and calm.

@@WildFenrir Hunhau is the one who is truly lonely. But... i guess he won't live very long for now. Since void spirit is about to corrupt or haunt Lotus. Maybe we'll have another good father redemption. Or maybe stalker will help us. Or maybe everyone, wjo knows!
But for now i just want to player have more interactions with Hunhau. I really do not want to think about poor him. Betrayed by both of his children, lost his wife, lost his home, then - death both of his kids and now they are brought back but.. very different. And now even Stalker leave him. And hi is slovly dying.

He really changed very much after the New War, maybe he just finally saw, that Tenni, despite be an enemy for him...is about to sacrafice not only his life, but everything for saving Nata. Same as him. Maybe hi just finally embrace the thought he is not alone in protecting his daughter.

I’m assuming that the name would have been something Jade would have picked. Very poetic.
This was the first time a story really grabbed me cause I knew enough about the character and the corpus hunting him down. He desperately trying to save his loved one but failing being only able to save their child and fighting off everyone who dares hold a gun to them, leaving to live a life alone with his child and naming them Sirus/Orion, it’s a great story and I wish I could replay it. Also the scene where he’s deflecting a Corpus minigun and the Corpus Commander (I think) tells them to hold fire since she saw the child, the music in that scene, it’s masterful imo. Truly amazing stuff.

I feel that Umbra and Stalker would have teamed up to get the baby to safety. Both of them are fathers but Umbra lost his son and would never wish that pain on anyone even his worsts enemies.
So during the ascension we'd have back to back badasses Stalker teleporting around with Umbra howling to Stalker an opening.
Stalker covering Umbra with his Scythe as Umbra jumps over with his exalted blade drawn. The Corpus facing the fury of two fathers one whose child is no more and another whose child has just been born.
This is a more important moment than everyone realizes and I think people should be talking about this! A Warframe just had a child!! This is something massive. This could be a sign or even proof that the war has ended and things are going to change. when it comes to wars ending the moment there’s a child it’s a clear sign that things are changing, and things are growing.

I also really love playing Jade, and having Stalker show up STILL being a hater and then seeing my Jade and quoting Rosa Parks.

Just finished the quest, I sat there with my jaw on the floor for 40 minutes straight
The baby will probably be named Orion in the canon and gameplay wise he will be able to use his father's bow and be able to summon his pet cyber dog. He will also have some of Jade's powers.

I went with Sirius because what it meant and it mostly represented Jade as shown from the UI when choosing the name.

I was in a mission playing as Jade when the screen blinked as if Stalker was gonna appear, he even said the message of "You shouldn't have killed *boss", but it immediately disapeared after spawning, that is one heck of a detail

pretty funny how the devs used their psychology skills to make you choose siruis i mean Green lights, Stalkers face, the name of the update, the lights in the background with all of that going on your mind will way earlier click on Sirius cuz its lit up than you would with Orion
