Very Informative! I'm a Half-moon keeper too and bred Super Red HM. Just to share, my first batch of fry (3Mths+) , dorsal fin is damaged. One of a experience buyer told me that my water level is too high for my jarring causing damaged to dorsal fin. The reasons is because betta need to swim to the surface to breathe, hence if the water level is high, betta constantly need to swim upwards. Overtime, the first bone of the dorsal fin will be bend due to the current of swimming upwards. 1 of the main reasons for dorsal damage.

It's depending condition, if you want to purification genetic you have to line breeding, but If both of parents betta has die you can choose inbreeding

Nice I love it, btw do not disturb male betta when he is incubating the eggs. If the male betta feel disturb, he will eat the eggs. You can remove the male betta after the betta fry can swim perfectly. If now you remove the male betta then some eggs or betta fry will drop to the base of tank and potential die. Thx for sharing Your knowledge! But You should tell, what is main charasteric for Hafmoon betta! Because plakat also can be halfmoon (HMPK). But you should mention differences between Delta, Super Delta and Halfmoon. Also it is not so true, that HM is from VT, yes VT was before, but also good to mention, that HM is from Deltas. Did You know, that almost every halfmoon betta fish is from one grand, grand,....grandfather Halfmoon named R39? :)

Yes, you are right, usually proportion of caudal length in halfmoon betta is about 75% - 120% of body length. and HMPK caudal length usually only 30% - 50%.
Yes, a delta betta caudal is almost the same as a halfmoon betta, but caudal spread of delta betta is less than 180-170 degree.
When 2 months old the form of halfmoon generation is delta form, and after 3 months the caudal form change become halfmoon =>180.
Yeah Chenot dan Massilamoni are breeder of R39 generation. Its grandfather of Halfmoon generation.

It seems that at night the water temperature in your farm is too cold So that it triggers Velvet disease. In such conditions, salt and catappa leaves are very important. You should increase the salt content of the water.
Even if you want your betta to heal quickly, you should soak your betta in salt water for 10-15 seconds. Thank you 🙂🙏

@@dwarageshc7837 your betta died because you dont clean the m.larvae in m.larva has many bacteria and it cause your betta died.you must put anti whitespot in water that has m.larvae before you feed your betta.
