Not gonna lie. When dabi said “why was I created” was super sad. Could you imagine your broke her crying to you asking why he even exists. Makes sense why the brother hates endeavor so bad even more now.
It makes more sense as to why Natsuo reacted to Endeavor in such a way. He hates him because he basically made Touya (Dabi) feel like he shouldn’t have been born... 😔 which is really sad to know not only was Endeavor manipulating the kids in forcing them to become better than him at young ages but to know he psychologically broke one of them... 😔 it’s hard to root for a hero that has such controversy around him... but hopefully he can get through to Dabi... I mean they are family... if not Endeavor the only one that can is Natsuo.

If you look at Endeavour's age - 46 during this arc, and Fuyumi is 23, so he was 23 when his daughter was born. If Touya is not Fuyumi's twin, so Touya may be older than her. So Enji was ever younget when he became father, maybe ever teenager. The child of teenagers parents? It's enough to suspicious you were born just by mistake. How much more were on Touya's soldiers to question his existence? Was he feels that he started Todoroki family and it fail?
To answer your question about why Toya’s “Death” wasn’t the breaking point for Rei, it was said that it happened after she got put in the hospital.
I’m just hoping Dabi puts Endeavor in the casket. Shoto vs Dabi should have more buildup if they allow Dabi to murk Endeavor.

Even though we all called it, it still is shocking to see it canon. Dabi is about to go nuts all out crazy with his power. All he was holding in all this time will spill out. I don’t know if he expects to win this fight or survive this fight but he seems hell bent on attacking endeavor.
Exactly. This was known or suspected for a while. So I'm sure most people had already their mental images of how it was gonna happen, multiple youtubers posted countless theory and prediction videos. All these overly anticipated expectations usually lead to disappointment in the majority of the time.
Yet the mangaka somehow managed to still put it in a way shocking and rampant enough for everyone actually getting surprised and thinking it was awesome. It was beautifully done.
I hope the censored speech bubble with Dabi/Hawks gets released now once it's revealed who Dabi really is.
I think this might be the moment where his quirk awakens and he goes all out. I also feel like if it awakens he would get ice. That would be a huge blow to Endeavor. I just love to see him in pain because what he did to his family for a meaning less number is not okay.
I think Dabi is planning to kill himself and take Endeavor with him.

I doubt Dabi expects to live through this. He wants to kill Endeavour and as shell-shocked as Shoto is rn he's not gonna let that happen, not to mention the others. Even if they themself don't kill him Dabi isn't suited for drawn out fights, at some point his quirk is going to kill him.

Because it wasn't about who Dabi was (we all knew it) but about WHEN AND HOW the moment would come. And to that end Horikoshi let us know beforehand dropping the truth right in our faces with obvious hints to create expectation leading to that moment. And it worked wonders.

I only see it as way to make the red hair and the white one canon at the same (because of the anime studio's error of giving Touya red hair).
Now, the story of MHA can actually begin. What i mean by this is everybody knew. this isn't a "wow" reveal, it's a "finally" reveal and to me it means that any build up or prequisites to have main or key characters start taking the helm of the weight of the plot is over with.

omg finally, the reveal. Not that I was pumped for it honestly, I was just kind of exhausted with how Horikoshi seemed to hang it over our heads and make Dabi seem all mysterious and pretentious when it was so obvious. But I like the impact of the reveal, it wasn't just some plot twist, it was a scheme.
Incredible how the revelation of something so obvious can be so shocking, that's good writing.
Endeavor is physically and mentally finished, and the same can be said for his career :S

Agreed. That this was suspected for so long means people had already countless versions of how this would exactly happen playing in their heads.

You mentioned not knowing what’s going on with touya s hair in the flash back , seems the general agreement is he was born with red hair, like the anime, but it turned white from stress from being abused. Might be horikoshi s way of fixing the anime/manga difference by making both “canon” but we’ll have to see with more back story obviously
It might still be red. Mangaka have a habit of whiting out colored hair in manga, just for anime to give it color no one otherwise would guess what it would be. One Piece does this a lot. I think his hair is red though. Actually, it might be white. I guess it would be hard to tell the change in hair color if its red in the manga.
Stress can make your hair white in MHA world. Same happened to Shigaraki who had dark hair.

Also I think Horikoshi is gonna make Endeavor live whatever the situation, he's a experienced, wise and exhausted hero, I can totally see an old, Chibi Endeavor (kinda like Gran Torino) in the end of the story looking after the new hero generation.

@@zacheryestrada9667 In my country, a person cannot be put in jail just by abuse, abuser can be charged by harm, threat or other charges. Usually victims apply restraining orders and if the abuser violated it, then they'll get arrested.

Rei burned Shoto because he reminded her of Endeavor; who's to say she didn't do even worse to Touya and Endeavor let it slide because Touya was a "failure"? But when she did it again to Shoto (the golden child), Endeavor put his foot down.

His hair is probably the same as Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul. In which both of their hair color turned white after experiencing severe amounts of stress and trauma. With Touya, when he was first seen his hair color was dark and all red. In the flashback with him as a kid, the top of his hair began to turn white due to the stress, until it eventually completely changed.

I may be on the minority here or maybe I wasn't thinking too much about it but I didn't know Dabi's identity, this chapter is such a great reveal. Dabi is basically the embodiment of what Endeavor was trying to achieve in the past, what he was willing to do to pass All Might, and it's such a perfect time to do the reveal too, when Endeavor finally achieved the top 1 spot, albeit by default and not by his own powers or merits. We've seen what Todoroki went through as the 4th child, I can't even imagine what the 1st child went through. When Endeavors past is revealed to the public and the perception of heroes is changed, there's no coming back.

I don’t think Dabi is insane. This was planned. It took patience and ingenuity. True insanity is physically and emotionally terrorizing your children for power. I hate endeavor with a passion. I hope Dabi drops him right there....just make endeavor a brick of charcoal! Too much? So glad this truth finally came out even tho the fandom has “known” for awhile. Endeavor has done some really messed up crap, (someone with daddy issues talking btw) but I can’t bring myself to hate him because his character is so well made and he has genuinely changed to some degree.
From a story PoV either his death or his survival could be really interesting after this point depending on who Horikoshi wants to focus on.

Still, there's a difference between appreciating the architecture of a character vs. actually supporting its actions.
With that said, I've met people in real life who had similar ways of getting to their motivations as him. I did not like any of them.
He is calculating and insane . He is the joker if he had way more scares and a fucked up past with a dope Blue flame ability.

@Happy Thoughts I thought he was a cool character shrouded in mystery but he didn't really leave a mark on me like all the other villains. His backstory was really needed tbh.

I thought he was pretty solid. A smart one. He immediately knows that he needed to stop or at least slowdown Eraser Head and sent a clone in order to slow him down for them to achieve their objectives during Bakugo's kidnapping attempt. He's also the one who gave some ideas to Tomura on some activities that they planned.

The last scene in the manga when he says "Come burn in hell with your son" felt like he knows how evil he has become I mean he's one of the most evil characters in the series. There's no road to redemption and he doesn't expect him to survive this fight with Endeavour so he's most likely going to kill Endeavour or at least take him down with him.

See, I got a opposite redemption feeling. Like I don’t think (haven’t thought) that shigaraki can be redeemed but I think Dabi can be in some way shape or form. Or at least have some kind of reconciliation. Either way I look forward to what happens to the todorokis.

I don't think so, at this point Tomura just kills and destroys because he loves doing so, the only thing he could ever love is death and destruction.
In that way he is very similar to his master (AFO said he commits evil because he wants to and loves doing so as well), the only difference between them is the experience they have. With enough time Tomura will be just like him.

I have just been wondering if Dabi hatred for heroes was just because of Endeavor or some other heroes too. Like if he was on special hero course training like Hawks, they learn that heroes must always be ready to save lives. So maybe Toya was in action to catch a villain, use his power but lost control, make a big fire and his hero instractor which was with him there just run away and left him behind.

It’s funny how his referred as a white hair antagonist for the manga because for some weird reason the animators made his hair red in the anime. So while this moment is still f***cking perfect it’s gonna be a little out of sync when it’s animated with his red hair instead of white

About the whole 'Rei not breaking the moment upon hearing Touya had passed on but burning Shouto's face', I believe they stated that Touya died sometime after Rei was admitted to the hospital.
So Touya's death occurred after Rei had her breakdown and Shouto's face was burned.
I doubt any of the doctors of family members could probably outright tell her that Touya passed on, if only afraid it would further break the poor mother even more when she's trying to recover.
Though, that being said, I think Natsuo or Fuyumi mentioned or hinted at Touya's death by saying something along the lines of 'after what happened to big brother' or something of the likes. So I don't know.
Maybe the next chapter, we're going to get a full look at Touya's childhood and how he came to be Dabi?

While everyone is talking about Dani/Touya dance, gotta say, that has to be some weird hair dye, easily washable with a single bottle, but can survive not being removed from Dabi's quirk, the month long fight against Gigatomachia, and pretty much everything else
I find the eccentric villains the most interesting. Touya has reached near Shigaraki tier for me.
Even though I've read the manga before this video dropped, man can I say something? The way you narrate the story of the chapter, just lit more hype into me, as if I'm reading it for the first time again. This chapter was amazing, was spectacular and fyi: White hair Dabi looking fine
