Leverage can work very well, but margin debt is a bad form of leverage. Warren Buffett figured it out with insurance float. Long-term cheap leverage with no chance of being called upon. That's what you need to roughly look for. A way to maintain leverage over a long period of time with a low borrowing cost and no call provisions. Easier said than done. Some people can do it through lines of credit on their house. You can do it with options you intend to exercise up to 3 years out -- though generally, this is very expensive. I'm sure there are many other creative forms of leverage that meet the above criteria.

Forget buying single Chinese stocks. Just drip buy KWEB, CWEB and YINN. 60%, 30% and 10% respectively. Own the whole market but in different variations of leverage (different form of leveraged play talked about here). Not 100% of your portfolio, just how you break up your China investment. Invest in US stocks for the majority of your portfolio, 100% in China is wildin, don't do that.
For sure Master has a lot of knowledge about investing and value calcularion. He knows a lot about Baba and China, so the probability is high that he is right in the long run.
I actually made a lot of money cause I entered the market of chinese tech when alibaba was around $60. I miss the top to sell, but I hugely leveraged and bought at the next lowest dip. I am significantly in the green now. I think I more than doubled my assets in the last 7 months via numerous trades. I am still super bullish and I believe not just BABA but all the time Chinese tech will see significant rise over the next few months.
China is economically important to US. Allot of US companies sell their products in China and receive raw materials from China. There will not be a decoupling. Great businesses like Alibaba will outlast politicians and their political agendas.
