I'm sorry to say I invested heavily (more than 50%) in the Chinese market, especially BABA at $83.5, since early 2023. However, I made the tough decision to sell everything at $76.5. Ironically, just a week later, the stock skyrocketed due to stimulus news but has now settled back to pre-stimulus levels 🥲 I didn’t want to miss out on the AI boom happening in the U.S. market (Maybe because of FOMO), so I shifted my focus there. Since making that decision, my CAGR since 2019 has significantly improved to around 20.5%, and my YTD performance is up 44% (Compare to S&P 500 is up 27%) Looking back, I’m not entirely sure if it was the 'right' decision, but it has worked out well so far. My original goal was only a 10% CAGR, so I'm happy with how things have turned out. It's a constant balancing act between sticking to a strategy and seizing opportunities. That said, I still have confidence that the Chinese market is really Undervalued and offers great opportunities for long-term investors
maybe investors are discounting both chinese internal comsumption growth AND rmb devaluation, two things that counter act each other in terms of what foreign investors pursuit
I'm in the same club as you. With BABA, I know what I own. I am comfortable with what I own. I will wait to benefit from what I own. See you on the moon!
Hey man, no Idea if it's because I haven't seen a video from you for a while or what. But the image quality seems to have improved, it's hella good now!! Keep up the good work!
I think china needs new political power for things to really change which is probably not happening soon 😂. Not a china expert but many people in power don't like to lose that position because they care about keeping power and the perception not how it affects people under them. I still like some of the stocks though.
I'm very bullish on China long term. China stocks seem like a bargain to me right now.
we have tiiiime :D lucky us

Meh, US market overvalued. I'm happy to hold 20% China.
XIACY seems to be very stable and climb gradually. Like its CEO second to none

I like the new photo!
Everyone is tired of waiting.
Make sure you are crunching real numbers, not artificially inflated numbers.
Feels like another round of CCP cutting chives 割韭菜
