Still can control volume up & down by your phone and not touching the speaker itself? For example when the phone volume is down to 20% the same 20% volume will be on the speaker too and then increasing manually from the phone? Thanks. I have connected it to my laptop using the Bluetooth instructions and added the device and it is connected. I play music with iTunes. Unfortunately, the music does not come out of the speaker. Only noises that pop up icons make on my computer play out of the speaker, not music. Not sure if this is an iTunes issue?
@@MegaSafetyFirst Yes. It is Windows. I found out it was an iTunes issue and resolved it as I saw an old solution which still works on Apple's community area. In iTunes, you click "Preferences", then "Playback" tab. At the bottom of the window you see "Play audio using". From the drop down window, choose "Direct Sound" then hit "OK". Close pop up window and then close iTunes. Restart iTunes in about 5 minutes and then start playing music. The sound transfer will be complete! All the sound comes out of the Studio 6 which is fine with me. The speaker is AWESOME!!!! I hope that other music library lovers who still use iTunes will learn how to connect the Studio 6 now. THANKS for responding to me so quickly! 😸

The HarmanKardon website states you can connect two speakers with each other. I do t believe they would limit it to two if technically they could support more 😕
There is no direct correlation between 60 watt audio power and 40 watt charger watts. They are two different things; one is sound energy (loudness) and the other is charging battery that can produce watts of electrical power.
Hello, I just purchased the Harmon Kardon Onyx Studio 6 and I’m having issues connecting it to my Apple TV. It is simply not registering on my found Bluetooth devices, which is odd as I have had my Harmon Kardon Studio 1 connected this way for years. It connects fine to my phone so I know it’s not an issue with the systems Bluetooth. My only thought is that it’s so damn new that there is some compatibility issue with my Apple TV until there might be some sort of update to make it discoverable. Is anyone else with this speaker having this issue? Any help is appreciated.
So my speaker turns on but doesn't make any kind of noise and the light will stay lit no blinking at all and turns itself off in 20 seconds. I can't do anything to it and I can't return it.

I probably tried doing it like 20 times, still no response. Tried playing music through an aux cord.. same thing no sound and speaker turns itself off. )))))):

You should be able to connect the speaker over the aux port to your computer.

Try reseting the Studio 6 by simultaneously holding down the + button and the Blu tooth button. Hold until it chimes.

As far as I know there is no way to reduce the bass from the speaker side. I suggest to reduce it by adjusting the equalizer on the smartphone.

Did you try restarting the phone? Sometimes that fixes the issue.

It may be used for software updates. Nowadays they tend to use the Bluetooth connection instead though
