Oh i see what you done inside. The wall ribbing is a better idea than to just use the wall for supporting the roof. I would like know how heavy this build will be when its finished. 73
@@buildwithsam6611yes I may go this route also I just want a sleeper. I'm not into racing down the road and get 800 miles in a day. I used to do 600 miles but I cannot stay up and drive like I used to. I would rest area hop if I had a sleeper trailer. 73 PS things have changed I'm probably going to go the already built trailer. I found one that is no wood to rot and very lightweight like 400 lbs empty. Under 9000 dollars and I can just put a mattress inside and sleep no galley but has the galley hatch. Easy to get things inside including me. 73
It all depends on how far one plans on pulling it. As long as you keep your speed to around 60 and stay within 100-150 miles radius of home, there's no reason why you shouldn't get several years use out of it. Probably less than 10 years, but that wouldn't be the end of the world. One thing I would definitely change are the small rims and tires, but I wouldn't be afraid to pull it to the campground.

All said and done 1100 pounds
Cool beans bro!
An Idea; I would change out the Axle and for larger wheels for a 5 lug nut set up; that's what I ended up doing for my self. Good luck...
If it wasn't on the harbor freight trailer it would be great. There's plenty for free trailers out there
It’s just a template trailer for a custom built one I’m working on
Very cool !
Who else thinks he sounds like Chris Pratt?
Thanks man. Chris is actually from 1 town over from me in lake Stevens wa
U should paint the frame first
Nice
You should have got a larger frame my friend.

Noob question here: why are the rafters offset from front to back?
Thanks for sharing, it is similar to the build I am planning.
Is there a part 2 I missed
Yes next video with the jeep thumbnail. Half way through and a part 3 coming soon!!
part 2 !!
Workin on it lol
The wheels are to small.
What paint would you recommend for the wood ?
I personally was planning on painting it with the rubberized rv roof paint. Figured I’d lay a few layers of that on there hope for the best
Part 2?
these trailers are too light and are basically junk for this application
Says you. You have t even seen the next videoz
