Oh wow! How weird! I was just there last week from Monday to Friday and thought the exact same thing!!! I traveled with my nephew, wife, and baby and had my own room. They would go back to theirs early to put the baby to sleep, and it was tough for me to find entertainment unless I found people to talk to! This resort is good for families or groups, not so much for solos...
Yea! And its even more weird as they have an "adults only" section (el beso) so I would've thought they would've offered more for the nightly entertainment
Do they have a nightclub? I’m looking for somewhere to go for my 30th and we all range from early 20s-late 20s. We want somewhere where there is night life and not just have to go back to the room as you mentioned
That really depends on how many days you are going for and what you will be doing. But many places take credit cards as well. I just make sure I have cash for tips and I use mostly cards so I may not have the best answer for you

No night club on the resort, just a sports bar
