We had a great time here with our family. We even came back twice! But there is something about the beach you need to know..!

Such a special boy, a trip to celebrate him🎉 Thank you fir the review. Erosion seems ro be an issue in the Riviera Maya, Playa Del Carmen area for the past year unfortunately. We have an anniversary trip booked in Dec for TRS Coral and we were/are looking at this hotel to spend 3 additiinal nights prior to TRS as we do love that side of Mexico. Glad to see the sargassum isnt so bad right now.
Oh! Happy anniversary to you guys! The Ocean Reviera try really hard to compensate with their customers service and food. And for us, it works.
And yeah the algea was not so bad. But to be honest with you, the beach with the erosion, even if no algea, it wasn't pleasant. As long as you know it before booking, the is okay.

Hi Tatyospina3859! The pool close around 5pm (for the kids pool) the water slide and water jet will be close. But they won't ask you to leave the pool. For the adult pool, we still see people in after 7pm.
But best to leave when you see staff pouring chlorine 😄

Can you confirm if the beach pool
Is saltwater or chlorine? And are kids allowed ? My son has a severe chlorine allergy and this will help us make a decision to book or not! Your reply is greatly appreciated:)
We would like to go here in March/April but the beach is a huge deal to us… do you think things could be better by then? Were there other beaches in the area we could go to for better swimming/snorkeling?? Thank you!!
Since there is a lot of walking, would you recommend taking a wagon for 3 year old kid or trolleys do the job?
are there other beaches near by that you can go to? Is there another resort you would recommend that is as good as this but has the beach?

No the pool is not heated, but I wouldn't worried about the temperature of the water if you are going during this summer.
We went in fall and summer and had no issues fornour son (3yo) concerning the pool temperature.
Heyy so i booked the eden balcony jacuzzi room but i searched all over the internet to see what privileges come with it. Like are we allowed to ise the el beso section ?

We met a wonderful family there with 3 daughters. Jayden loved to play with them. He still remember them.

We are thinking about booking a trip here but we have seen some reviews that it is actually not all inclusive and they try to charge extra for things like higher up liquors or food. We are thinking about booking privilege but online it says all inclusive and gratuities included in the price. Did you have to pay extra for drinks or any food or anything? Thank you!
Very good question, in all inclusive resort, to have access to premium liquor or special meal, yes you have to pay an extra. All the meal and whatever you see me drinking was include in the package.

I was recently at this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it,, the staff is very friendly but the rooms are moldy and yes this is NOT an all inclusive resort, they charge you for extra things and you must reserve to go eat at their restaurants or you have to eat at their buffet in which food is tasteless
