I’m glad to see Lucy is getting better. Looks like they all 3 did pretty good getting their shots! I just noticed that Feobe looks like she has a white heart in her fur on the left side like her hip area! Too cute! It looks like Fancy has really warmed up & the others are getting there. SWAT is gooood stuff!! It is a staple on our farm. During the healing process, it really helps to repel flies to keep the critters from getting blown and maggot infested

The black and white spotted goat ( named Copper?) is the most beautiful/handsome goat that I have ever seen. Oh, the donkeys are adorable too. I think the bunk beds are a great idea for the cabin.
The loft could be a future project. It looks so inviting great place. You might put one of those covers that protect from bugs getting in the mattress...just my pov and not important. Lol Omg! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I walk like that and going thru tests to figure it out. Lol I may have the same thing they have....good gawd! There is a Alpaca shearer I watch on here she rarely ties them up. She is so sweet she stood there pretty calm ect. for you. Wow, a lot of deer.

There is an Avon product called ‘Skin so Soft’. We used to use them on our German Shepherds. It is an oil. My husband used to put them on their ears. It is great! I introduced the product to a friend of mine who has horses. He puts it in their bath water. It really keeps the insects away; especially flies.

The ears is mange mites. It happened to my alpacas in summer time three years ago. It’s a pain start treating with ivermectin treat the whole group. The biggest pain is scraping the ears so fibers grow back normal. Dewormer won’t hurt if it’s not mites.
Back home in Cali my shepherds that stayed outside all the time would just start to get ate up by flies in the onslaught of summer, so every year I’d break out the tub of Bag Balm, it would clear up and heal where they had started biting the ear tips and I would keep it on them all summer to keep flies off, they didn’t like it. I would lather them up pretty good. They would heal up quite fast . Just a little tip. Many prayers for the Alpaca family. Blessing to the Arms daily.

Saw a cool design, use a heavy duty frame and cargo net and suspend it from the ceiling with a stationary ladder on that wall, or one that drops down. You can store stuff when not in use, and the kids love it and can put their sleeping bags on it!!!

Copper seemed pretty patient and not aggressive. I love him he has personality. Phoebe and Fallon are also characters. Hope you can find a way to feature Copper and the donkeys.
The Swat is excellent for fly bites, etc. and healing. Don’t know if you know this or not, but you can also use Vaseline on your animals ears. It’ll also keep the flies off and soften up the skin. Used both on my horses and dogs for years. :)

We had a bottle baby lamb with wobbly feet, same thing Selenium deficiency. Crusty ears we treat with oil. 1 part pine oil 9 parts olive oil, all over the ears until healed. Mites breath using the skin, oil suffocate them, so they are gone fast. If they try removing it (itching when healing) reapply it

It's just an idea but in my she shed, I put a heater/air conditioner wall unit, like the ones in hotel rooms. They are kind of expensive, but saves space and works wonderfully. Like I said it's just an idea. God Bless!!

Just a thought you could of would of should of put military bunks in their on both sides and one across the back that would of fitted 6 guys per say and m and dad would have the air mattress in the living room area! But that's a would of should of could of wish! Although small is good no room for alot of visitors when you want to get away from it all!
Hey there guys. I would love to share my experience with beds just like that. Put plywood down on the rails before the mattress. Your comfort will be better and the mattress will last so much longer.
You guys amaze me with all the irons you have in the fire. So glad you don't have to go on patrol anymore. You have plenty of work to do without that and you are far safer! What a great deal for your kids as well!

I've ordered my bed frames from Amazon. I like the platform style because they don't need a bottom mattress. Some might come with a mattress but it's usually separate. They do have some very nice hybrid mattresses though.
I had to move my horses water troughs to the shade. Helps slow the algae growth. If not you have to scrub them more. My tank was 100 gallon for two horse and I can't waste that kind of water. Good to see the donkeys getting along and the donkey poodles doing better. Happy 4th
The bunk beds are a great idea. aloft can be very hot where the bunk beds may allow air circulation. The pig trap is amazing. Hope you get lots of pigs.

Kevin at Hidden Heights Farms had/has a selenium deficiency in his goats. They live in Salina and their soil has a selenium deficiency. He talked about this in a video several months ago.
