I still have my 1970 CT 70. My dad bought it for me new when I was 9 for 300 dollars. I always said I would restore it when I retire. Thanks for the video these bikes hold a big place in my heart. I think I put 6000 miles on it in the yard.

This guy is more skilled, than McGyver. He is awesome. Give him a time and he can repair or rebuild everything from car and motorcycles to space ship. No matter 4stroke, 2stroke, diesel or petrol...INSANE skills.

What an incredible series of videos on the Trail 70.
Thank you taking us along on this rebuild!
I had a Honda QA 50 and a older friend had the Trail 70 back in the early "1970s" this really brought back a lot of memories!
    Thanks again!

This puts such a smile on my face. My first motorcycle was a Honda Z50 passed down to me from my mother. I think it may finally be time to bust into my dad's garage, bring it to my house, and get her ready to roll when my daughter gets old enough. Cheers guys!

I was 12/13 in the very early 70’s and knew another kid who had one of these and I wanted one sooo bad. This is so cool, super job on the restoration. I forgot all about these. I’m in my mid 60’s now and if I could find one, I’m sure would cost an arm and leg, it would be cool to share with one of my grandsons, na, I’d keep it for myself.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

No boasting, very modest but the best time lapse content I’ve seen in ages, let alone a free to view TH-cam channel. Honestly I this is premium quality entertainment you won’t find on paid subscription television, or at lest you’ll spend a lot of time searching for it. Great work.. !

Brought back some big memories....I had the first year trail 70 within 3 months of them being introduced. It was a gold one and had the three speed auto clutch. My dad paid 311.00 out the door for it....I had to pay him back, by mowing a bunch of lawns.i rode the thing many of a mile through the orange/ grapefruit groves in the Rio Grande valley (south Texas)....and later in the desert on the outskirts of Del Rio Texas. ( my dad was a Border Patrolman). Thanks for the memories compadre!!!

As a kid, I was dying to have one. We were quite a poor family though, so no way I could get. But, years later, when I started college, I bought a well worn out Cub 50 from a friend. I did as Davin and took it apart, cleaned it, putbin new rings and brake linings. That’s it.
It took me dependably through collège without a single glitch. I gave it to my younger bro who rode it through college too !
    Incredible lil’ machine !.

Gorgeous..... awesome Job! I had the exact same bike when J was a kid. Acquired it at 13 years old and it barely ran. Bought the Honda service manual and a $15 wrench set and rebuilt the motor and it ran like a monster. Although I’m not a professional mechanic; I did attend a trade school and learned how to wrench because of that bike. And to this day I do all of my own work because of that bike. Love it, I have to find one if these to restore! I would ride is in the rain, the snow, you couldn’t get me off of that bike. I wish Honda would to a retro like they did with the monkey bike!
    Great Job, Happy New Year!
