- Beyond the Brick's Joshua Hanlon talks with Adam Reed Tucker, the builder of a LEGO International space Station.
The ISS and other LEGO buildings by Adam are on display at Brick by Brick in the Museum of Science and Industry through Feb. 2017. See more videos from the exhibit: goo.gl/VtzwtN
Fun facts about the LEGO ISS:
- 4 feet wide
- Design time: 30 hours
- Build time: 25 hours
- Number of pieces: 2,500
The real ISS orbits the Earth at 17,500 miles per hour. It's structure is modular, just like LEGO. The first piece of the ISS was launched by Russia in 1998.

Now we have it smaller but as a set
And it got discontinued a year ago.. Rip I spent twice MSRP because I had to have the set. I think the fact they initially sold it for 65 bucks was incredible value
