When I was around ten, I tried to build a lego ISS international space station, but I failed cause I simply didn’t have enough bricks to finish the build. Now lego has launched this set and I... am admitted as an aerospace engineering student. I’m very glad that I have insisted my dream for all these years, and I really wish you can as well.

I love how many of the decals are printed instead of stickers, it makes everything seem much more high quality. I can't wait to see how the solar panels will be used in other custom builds.
The Ideas sets never seem to have stickers. We should support more of them.

Nice, I'll do my own build stream with my usual discussion of ISS science and history.
My biggest complaint is that the shuttle is about half the size it should be at this scale, but by coincidence the Shuttle in set 31091 is almost exactly the right size, so I'm going to try and mod it to work with this so it can dock.
I think the crew modules also look a bit underscale compared to the trusses,but that seems to be a limitation of the cylindrical bricks LEGO has available to them that a design decision.

I built this set for my desk at work. I honestly want to get another one for home...I enjoyed the build so much and love the finished model.

I'm actually gonna buy this set, Mainly because I love the ISS and any space related stuff so mixing the ISS with Lego is definitely a win, The sad thing is that these type of sets aren't recognised much, People often only buy Lego sets with figures, I get that the figures will probably get a higher price as time goes on but it's not just about figures, It's about beautiful Lego sets like this one, Building it and seeing the finished product is worth more than a Lego figure.

Special Sharpie yes same I build my Saturn in Disney world when I was on a holiday to America so when I put it in my case to come back I was expecting it to be destroyed and well 1 think fell off

i recomend building this in a large, flat area like a carpet in a place were no 1 goes much. there r lots of small pieces that will most likely go missing for a few hours-days

I think I would appreciate it more if it was larger, more detailed..... my Saturn V is still my best Lego purchase ever - what I really want is a SpaceX rocket to same scale to accompany it but they seem to keep stopping that from ever happening...

Now I’m thinking if I should get this or the Saturn v because the price in my country is similar but the Saturn v is way better value for money and this seems very repetitive
Get a saturn, it is a delightful build imo (my first set in years). The only thing that got me REALLY annoyed with this one is that lego did their usual nonsense of putting seemingly randomly coloured bricks on the inside of the model that are clearly visible when you display the stages seperately (not a big deal for many i know)

The International Space Station was a LEGO Ideas set that did not get approved but its a pretty good space set. And maybe in the future there will be more LEGO Ideas not approved sets just like this.

it will take about 2 and a half to 3 hours to build so it is pretty time consuming if u r bored
The space shuttle CAN be docked to the ISS, actually the whole set looks like more beautiful this way and I can't understand why this isn't mentioned anywhere.
