Let's get real here. This person has no more genuine caring for me than they ever did. But they still have all the love in the world for money & what they can gain along that front. It's very disheartening. Had their heart actually been in the right place, their business prowess could have indeed been helpful to us both. If I had just met them on a business basis, then this would have been fine. But I fell in love with them, & this changed everything (as it always does). I NEVER want to work so hard in what's supposed to be a trusting, loving relationship, constantly constructing boundaries & looking over my shoulder. Who wants to live like this? I obviously bought into an illusion which I'm working diligently to get free of! Frankly, this is exhausting. I'm thankful for the lessons, & eager to move on (which I've largely done). I don’t believe my special person: is missing me, at all. I believe he is: with his new person… or old person… I believe he may return at some point as: he bread crumbed me for YEARS, then when he did show up, he invested heavily - I believe either he was triggered: by relationship coming together… OR he awoke and found he could not overlook my short coming. I dunno?. I was fully authentic, I was not hiding who I was. I appreciate your readings: I need to focus on a narrative that understands that it didn’t work out was about what’s going on with him… which I have no control over.
