@@crome1115 well that's the difference tho. You went in the 80s. This was in the early 2000s/2010s. Things are different and social media was the craze. People still bullied others physically but not the the degree that you faced. Atleast then it was just within school grounds, in the net? any embarrassing moment will get shared internationally and people who you know and don't know will criticize and laugh at you, the worst thing that can happen to you in the 80s was to get beat up enough near death or get arrested. Girls like the plastics DID exist and still do to this day (influencers, rich kids etc.) But only some bully since they don't want to risk their reputation.
If you really want to compare your highschool life to a fictional movie, maybe watch a film that actually try to represent what high school was like in th 80s. Not 2000s teen movie.

I do not know what that must have been like to be popular in school, I was lucky the teacher knew my name...If I missed a week from school no one would even know I wasn't at school today... but could be worst, you couldn't do anything bad or wrong because people will know who you are... could be a good thing or maybe not !! I think I rather sit in the back & take it all in..
You'd be surprised at how many people know of you and liked you. The popular kids are usually not well liked once the people they went to school with reach a certain age. Especially if they were more about status and not about being a likeable person. What was cool at 13-17 ain't so cool when you're an adult

If it is a design/drafting and architectural school, I would think displaying your talent in design/building something, even a birdhouse, would be a good practical test of your abilities.

@@gordjohn2322 so you missing the point, a birdhouse would never sell for huge amount of money, and colleges/universities are very expensive, so if your cheap birdhouse made enough money to pay that college that means your college is very cheap and bad because all good colleges cost a lot of money, or if we assume the birdhouse sold for huge amount of money then at that point do you even need college? just start making birdhouses sell them and become rich 😂

They almost never get caught though, because their so-called parents are high in society, and pay the school a lot of money. That can turn a principle corrupt. I stuck up for the ones being bullied.. i wasn't popular by means but i was known aa a trouble maker because i got into alot of fights defending the ones being bullied from bullies. I would tell the bullies, pick on someone your own size me.. then they would walk away and my dumb ass would run up to them and taunt them.. i dont regret it, i still stand up for those being bullied to this day when i see it.. and im 46.. can't stand bullies..
