I love how they don’t use any pedals or sound effects on their guitars. Just the same old technology that’s been around since the 50’s, can’t beat that sound!

I heard Marty tell a late night show host "we don't need no pedals" how old was Marty when Lester Flatts took him on his first tour and didn't Marty stay with him til he retired..if anybody those answers
@@MAGAMANPATRIOT I seem to recall reading that Marty was 13 or 14 when he joined Lester's band.
Sure love that sound coming from those Twin Reverb amplifiers, nothing compares with that sound!

Noticing the J45’s Chris and the other man was playing,just throwing this out there.I couldn’t afford a GIBSON J45 so I opted for the new Epiphone J45.I really like it,& play it more than my D28.

State of the art- if there is a better real-deal 100% country band playing today than these guys I want to hear them. I was big Ernest Tubb and Troubadours and Flatt Scruggs in the 60's.

What’s wrong with Stuart’s neck?
Well in the tradition of country some folks wore neckercheifs and rather flashy ones as well. i'm 61 and as i remember Marty is a few years older than i am and age does a funny thing to our necks and my neck isn't as taught and pretty as it once was or as i thought it was as it seems. i also don't wear mussle shirts or shorts as much as i did when young. Things change gravity is unkind. I wish some one would tell this to 90% of the women out there wearing yoga pants. 2. things in this world don't lie "kids and yoga pants" no one wants to see me in a speedo and most women shouldn't be seen in Spandex and should trade them in for Spanx. Gettin Old Aint for Sissies my Wife says. I love Marty for what he is, not for what he was.
@@markthegunplumber8376 I've been a Marty fan since he and I were both teenagers, (since back when he HAD to wear a hat with Mr Lester Flatt's Nashville Grass.) The first time I saw and photographed him wearing a neck scarf on stage fairly regularly was long about 1978-79 so it isn't a new thing for him...😁.
