I think the reason the humans attacked Abbil (the goat monster) so violently was because of the incident we saw at the start of the animatic, they probably thought he was another dangerous predator that was going to attack them, even though he had no intentions to do so. Also just a little extra information, the determination guy's name is Irral
Damn Irral is very powerful. Not only was he able to give them SOUL Traits but also he did create the First Monsters and the Trait HATE or more the Spell HATE. This dude is probably the strongest Human ever exist in Undertale/Glitchtale.
Yes that is true Irral (his Name) was the Origin of the Soul Traits by sharing his Soul Trait manifesting different to each person (creating the other 6 Traits), creating the first Monsters (the First of them was also the First Boss-Monster aka Goat Monsters) by his fear of loneliness and accidentally creating Hate by his Anger and Hate towards the Humans treating the Monsters. The Question is now, how did he get his Determination Soul Trait?!? Well Irral was one of the only humans surviving the great Cataclysm. It’s not known yet what happened or was the Cataclysm but it was probably a result of a Great War between the Humans. My theory is that it was a war of Magic Users resulting of some humans became arrogant and tried to conquer the world or something like that. Magic itself probably exists since the beginning of time and was found and manifested by humans. Irral probably fought in the War, was determined to protect people and fighting for them defeating the Enemies. This Determination was strong enough that it was manifested in his Soul and as a result he created the First Soul Trait: Determination! I mean it is kinda obvious that the War between Humans and Monsters wasn’t the first War in the history of Glitchtale/Undertale.
Worst thing actually is that we really can't blame the humans for attacking the first monster since they have never seen one before and possibly thought it is just another beast that's about to attack THEM, so out of fear of the unknown they did what they did... This really was just an unfortunate misunderstanding that has lead to the point of the finale of Season 2, with a lot of death, grief, pain and chaos.
Just to play devil's advocate. Well it's very easy for us the viewer to take a side of the monster as we know he's innocent. But if a realistic non-animated goat monster walked up to us in real life I'm fairly certain peace talks would not be the first thing to pop into our minds. Like obviously he's super cute when drawn but imagine a realistic monster that you've never seen before. You'd be absolutely terrified.
maybe most people would be but i doubt all would be. I think many people who play TTRPG like DnD or just generally open minded people would not immediately resort to violence. Some people are more attuned with nature and more spiritual in general then most.
Don't know if you read her comment on her video so Just so you guys know this is according to Camila herself this is only the first half, as the second half contains spoilers for an upcoming series that works on the world building of glitchtale. And the second half will be animated when the time is right Source -- her comment on Glitchtale hates origins

That honestly makes sense as it's human nature to fear something that you don't understand and they figured hurt it before it hurts you.
how do you say irral? Ir-wall? ral? wut?

Yeah but they lose that Misunderstanding excuse when they continued to try and attack when irral stood and protected the first monster.
