isnt this basicly just a reskin for Surviving Mars? Which was EXTREME basic gameplay, alot of just stting around and waiting for your drones to do their thing?

It is not. Its more factorio/satisfactory type of game where you dig for resources, optimize your production chains with conveyer belts and power sources. And challenges like "produce and deliver 500 pieces of the thing in two weeks to get a reward". With moon colony shenanigans on top of that.

I think it's all going to be about where the devs take this game. A more simplistic foundation can be a wide foundation, with a lot of room to but complexity on top of.
Surviving mars? I didn't stick with that at all, for exactly the reason you said.
I can't go from oxygen not included and dwarf fortress to surviving mars and not be super bored. This, I'm at least going to give a good shake. And if it's lacking, I'll still make sure to check back in on it from time to time, because at the very least, only a few hours in, I can see the potential.

More like DSP than Frostpunk / IXION seems better off playing DSP for now if you like this kind of game

Man, I thought i was the only one who hated the way she was talking to everyone. Every other youtuber that's played this either loves her for that, or skips her dialogue and doesn't really comment...
Like, I get it, the Gary, or whatever his name was, calling her "sweetheart" in a sort of dismissive way is a bit off putting, sure... but then she just goes super massive b-hole for the rest of her dialogues, and doesn't quit moaning until Gary dies... was grating to say the least
