- For going on 8 years, Xenoverse 2 has been getting consistent patches, updates, DLC and everything in-between. During this time though, an avalanche of things have gone un-noticed and slipped through the cracks of the average player's eye.
Today I'm bringing you the ULTIMATE Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Iceberg, this Iceberg covers some of the most common things you think of when thinking of Xenoverse 2, all the way to things you've never heard of.
I got this idea and decided to combine my Part 2, 3 and what would've been a Part 4 into one GIANT video, this tripled my workload, but I figured it would be great to have all these facts in one single place.

why does nobody talk about the fact that you cant have vegetas armor, the one he uses in the cell saga and in most of db super; everybody just uses the base sayan cac armor with vegeta's color. like its one of the most iconic outfits in dragonball
Or Future Gohan's "Han" Gi. It's the only one that's missing.

Fun fact: In the PQ “Big little brother” you fight baby, and he has Instant transmission as one of his moves
Also when baby he goes great ape, he has the grab skill, and yes, I figured it out the hard way

Between Dr. Wheelo in Dokkan and Base Broly in XV2, can you make a FighterZ iceberg where you mention Omega Shenron not being in it, and therefore confirming him?
Legitimately would be hyped for Omega in FighterZ. Baby is probably my all-time favorite, but Omega would be so rich with potential for me. Like he has a niche answer to Vanish in Dragon Thunder, which could lead into combos.

Forgot the Flying Nimbus vehicle
Awesome video, cool to see someone whose brain is Xenoverse poisoned like mine. My friend and I used to play every day, but that's not the case anymore. Here are just some things I think are interesting and worth mentioning in Xenoverse 2's history.
1. The most polite ban request.
A few years ago, modders received a pop-up message when signing into the game. Essentially, the game recognised they were able to access boss moves, and were asked if it was okay to ban them. If players selected "no", they were able to continue playing as usual. They have since gotten more firm with these guys, thank goodness.
2. I'm Taking My Big Ball and I'm Going Home:
Another point about modded attacks on CaCs, the Gigantic Ki Blast raid boss ultimate completely broke the game when it was used online. The camera would freak out, you wouldn't be able to control the Lock-on feature, and you'd be completely unable to move. There was no way to get around this once the modder had used this skill, so players would either have to run out the timer or quit the game. How fun.
My guess is that because the intended event of players pushing the Ki Blast back did not/could not be activated in a normal battle, the game didn't know what to do.
3. The game has also had a storied past regarding its plethora of glitches.
a. Stage constraints aren't for everyone:
There were a number of stages where players could exit the map by step-vanishing against the right rock formation. The easiest stages to do this on were Beach and Archipelago. When performed successfully, the player could fly around above the stage, invulnerable from all attacks unless they hugged the floor. In classic Xenoverse fashion though, they were still able to fire projectiles back down into the stage at their opponents. It was even possible to come back down using certain teleporting Super or Ultimate attacks, though why someone would want to do that is beyond me.
b. The Darkest Timeline:
Though I believe this has since been patched, for a long time Body Change was almost unusable online. The following would happen if a player's transformation ended while performing the Body Change ultimate attack, or if it was particularly laggy.
- Body Change would activate.
- Projectile attacks, especially beam Supers, would stay in the air way longer and almost never disappear.
- There were extreme delays in getting hit, and all hits would be stored and dealt out at once, like Time Skip/Molotov. By "delay", I mean like 30 seconds and longer.
- Sometimes you'd be forced to fight your teammates in a 2v2 or 3v3 situation. The more players, the more broken the game would be.
- The room would eventually disconnect, and since hitting your opponent was so wonky, the battle would rarely finish in time to spare the players from queueing again.
c. Strength of 10 Million times Twenty:
If the lag was juuuuust right, Super Attacks would sometimes hit many times and delete the opponent's Health bar in a few frames. I personally saw this happen with Death Crasher, but it probably works for any Super Attack with a single hit and a chunky moving hitbox. Basically, the attack would land, then it would hit them over and over on each frame until they were K.O.'d. Fun fact, this was also in Xenoverse 1, and most likely came up when using Evil Rise Strike.
4. Minion Revenge.
This is just a personal favourite 2v2 strat of mine. My mate and I would both pick Raspberry, whose Heavy, Light, Heavy would vanish to the opponent. This also worked on a downed teammate. Further, even though Minion characters were buffed to no longer have Minion Health, they still Revived almost instantly.
So if you were both Raspberry, and fought on Space for example, you'd be able to instantly teleport to your partner and revive them before the other team could get anywhere near you.
Some of the most wild matchups we won using Raspberry together were against a Giant Namekian guy with the Rose Super Soul, and a couple of "cheap Male Earthlings", a phrase my friends and I coined to describe that special type of sweat running max-Strike Super male Earthlings with Time Skip/Jump Spike.
5. Man's Best Friend is... Satan?
And now, your reward for reading this whole essay. The best partners to use in Offline PQs is Custom Mentor Hercule with the following:
- Super Soul: HERCULE! HERCULE!
- Ultimate Attack: The Savior Has Come
They'll revive themselves super quickly, keep the enemy off you with his Ultimate, and buff all your attacks by 10% every time you get a K.O., which can be stacked up to 10 times. I've never lost an Offline PQ since I started running 2 of these Hercules alongside my CaC.

Do the current raid to get the Hercule Hercule super soul for your CACs, because they are far more useful than Hercule if you set them up right. I won’t go into the whole she bang, but CACs can have Dodon Ray, which uses no ki. They can have dual The Savior is here to heal you and them. Can have Super Spirit Bomb and Emperor’s Death Beam, which can stun lock enemies while doing great damage. Hercule Hercule is the best super soul for PQs as that damage stacking can go crazy.
Something that could use improvement is more clothing customization options for mentors. Examples would include having damaged gi for Vegeta, Goku, Tien, Gohan, etc, Videl's outfit from Z Broly's movie, the outfits 18 chose from Cell Saga, Gohan's Tracksuit, end of Z Trunks' attire, Androids Saga tank top trunks, even hair accessories for characters that underwent any hair changes.
Would add more unique creativity for cast characters aside from CACs. Oh, and giving Beerus (and maybe even Champa) Destructive Fission
i think what is crazy about vehicles is that...there isn't like a mini-game based around vehicles. like racing or time trials or something where we race around certain maps in XV2 but they're styled and altered in the form of courses. what's also wild to me is that The Breakers has added in more vehicles. there's the standard police officer vehicle that Krillin uses in Super. there's the motorbike that (although is tied to Bulma) i believe Launch uses in her introduction to the series while running away from police officers. there are a few different colored dinosaurs (which, correct me if i'm wrong, may be a nod to Dragon Quest?). an all gold version of the standard vehicle we first get in XV2. and recently we got a smaller version of the transportation cube that Whis and Vados used to transport the Universe 7 and Universe 6 fighters in. and the funny thing is that you can make builds around vehicles in Breakers as there are skills to boost the effects of vehicles (movement speed, jump height, making it so that if you take damage while riding a vehicle it doesn't affect your shield despite your vehicle being destroyed).

I always found it an oddity we got lab coat Android 21 as a DLC character but not her Majin form or the evil version (with gray Cell skin)
Also I love all the subtitles that are vastly different from the actual spoken audio sometimes
i enjoyed the breakers but it was after the crossplay update as it before took forever

Tbh, if the CGI cutscenes were occasionally done from your CaCs POV I'd be fine with it. That way they wont have to model a base CaC but you could still tell that they have some sort of presence.
I think in:
DLC: Teen Gohan (Base), 2 Form Cell, Young Future Trunks, SSJ Goku Black, Goku kid (Original DB) or King Cold
In my opinion with the cac lore they did a pretty good job with the Broly arc in DLC 17 were the main cast gave our cac energy, but that was about it. They could’ve done some thing like Beerus mentioning we already had super Saiyan god or something along the lines of that.
XV2 seems like a lot of things other games did but expanded on and done better. Combat in Tenkaichi 3 I still think is miles better than the XV games, but the way you can alter the timeline of events in battles in BT3 was expanded on in Xenoverse. The awful CaC system in Ultimate Tenkaichi got WAY expanded on. XV1 genuinely did feel like a beta. I remember playing it and just feeling constantly like it wasn't a finished game. Then XV2 came out. XV2 is XV1 as a finished game. To me personally, if XV2 had the combat of BT3, it would be THE perfect Dragon Ball game. Like you'd never top it.
I was hoping to see it on the list but i didnt. Is there a reason why ui goku lost the ability to do his light heavy ender close to end of his light string. I used to love ending my light combos with that, now it's gone

Got a super easy fight against Yamcha Tien and Krilin. Then you fight the three Time Patrollers, if they don't drop a "Key Item" just hit retry, no menus no fuss.
I hope they give us super buu gotenks and semi perfect cell

6:16 - for modded CaC's, as of now, its now possible to add Festival skills to CaC's, sadly. Dont blame ya for missing this one since its a recent thing/ technicality.
11:01 - I would personally argue that people would farm Dragon Balls in PQ 4 since you can fight the time patrollers in the middle of the mission and can restart the mission if you didnt get the Dragon Ball. Again, this is nit picky because there a few ways to farm Dragon Balls.
18:07 - Base Broly. That is all.
33:36 - Gotenks Ultimate actually uses the animations of Dual Ultimate version of Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. With any other different ultimate animations are most likely the Dual Ultimate Versions.
36:42 - To add on to rename characters like Majin Vegeta, Rose Goku Black was actually called Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black), that was his full name. They Changed it Rose Goku black after the first update of his release I believe.
With some fun random facts that I can think of.
Supreme Kai of Times model as a playable character is slightly different to her cutscene variant. their are 2 different Bulmas that exist at the same in the game. Battle of Gods/ Buu Arc Bulma in the area you make qq bangs and the Resurrection of F Bulma in the City itself
Gohan (Adult), Yamcha, Recoome, and Videl are the few characters that have different hair styles in their presets (excluding future DLC Custom Mentor costumes)
The Shading of Super Saiyan changed where at first it was more of a Golden Hue that covers the whole character, making them more yellow. In future updates, they would tone back the saturation to the look of super saiyan we have today. to add on, transformations use to be slower and would cause people people to stand still too long after transforming which could cause the user to be broken after the fact like the modern Beast transformation.

Their was a glitch to Teen Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 form that was fixed in the recent update. He would remain the same pose as his base after transforming. Now he stands straight up like SSJ3. He use to do it in Xevoverse 1, hence we know it was a glitch.
CaC's can't have/use the Festival Moves BUT Mentor Gogeta and Goku can now use their Festival Moves in Custom

No you aren’t in the unpopular opinion. I think there are a lot of people who prefer the old dub of Goku black instead of British Goku Black. British Goku black was such a slap to the face that came out of nowhere when I saw the first dub of Future trunks saga and I heard that cool dark Goku voice and then they switched it up to British when he went Rosè which is to this day one of the most silliest things they could’ve done.

It's not bad tbh, the DLC 17 parallel quests feel way more dialogue heavy and the only enemy that can't be immediately KO'd is Fu so I don't quite understand the reason anyone would hate it. The Ultimate Legendary Super Saiyan, on the other hand...
Heres a cool fact i found out: android 16 can't be poisoned at all and to my knowledge he's the only one with this mechanic feel free to correct me in the comments if i got this wrong

Ranked is still a toxic cesspool in 2024. i have been playing since 2017 on PlayStation 4 and can confirm this. hackers are still present. the current issue with hackers is that they have found a way to make their Namekian characters giant permanently both in and out of battle. what this does, in battle, is allows them to fight as you would normally with normal basic attack combos and supers instead of being limited to the combo strings and attacks they get after turning Giant. the main issue with this is that it manipulates their hitboxes. you can't fight them like a normal Giant Namekian. unless you have a wide ranging attack that hits the center of their body, all of your attacks will phase right through them.
aside from this current issue, there have been quite a few other issues that plagued Ranked but have been patched. like the glitch with Chronoa's Ultimate Attack: Timespace Impact. if you used this attack locked off a target, it would freeze them in place and softlock them. people would use this attack and then spam Angry Hit to get free wins in Ranked before it was patched. there was another glitch in the form of Android 21's Excellent Full Course glitch. if you used a Reinforcement Skill (Do or Die, Meditation, Divinity Unleashed, Jaco Pose, Hero Pose, Prepare to be Punished, Fruit from the Tree of Might, Lovely Cyclone, Formation, or any Fighting Pose Skill), then used 21's Ultimate without hitting your target, you could extend your pose duration for upwards to 5 minutes or more. people would exploit this glitch with Fighting Pose K or F to have Super Armor that would last throughout the entire match. Festival Hit's Flashfist Crush was the recent glitch that was patched. if you used this move while your target was using a Super Attack and landed first, it would freeze them in place. this would leave people wide open to a Limit Burst boosted Timeskip Molotov.
the only real reason to play Ranked nowadays (on PS4) is to farm clips for content. need clips of hackers? Ranked without Limits. need clips of ragequitters? Ranked without Limitations. need clips of tryhards? just hop on Ranked without Limits. where people will do anything to win regardless of how cheesy the exploit is or if they have to cheat with hacks to do so.

I can vouch for ya. I have been playing since day one. I remember the days of the gogo gum dragon flash Bullet cheese. I remember fighting trucks cheesers back to back, buuhan grab spammers, sword of hope out of bounds glitching into hmhmhm for free wins. I've got compilations of cheesers and lag switchers. on Xbox we have home screen glitches. Basically when you press the home button you can get out of stamina breaks for free. I've dealt with boosters,booters,death threats ECT. All because some lonely c*ck on ranked matches felt like a fool when their cheese lost to my ssj4 gogeta. if those c*cks message you they'll be talking the most shi. If you call them out to a first to five they make every excuse in the book. Doesn't matter how many times I humiliate a rankedtard in a ft5 money match they'll always use any excuse in the book to sweat their balls off in a ranked mode that gives them zero rewards. Ranked in xenoverse ain't gonna be fixed anytime soon.
