This is the most detailed review on this laptop I have found on TH-cam! Especially grateful you detailed the number of dimming zones - this helped me be more confident to purchase the i9/32gb/4060 variant which is currently on sale! Thank you!
I love my 9i Pro (i9-13905h - 32GB), mainly due to the screen. I use it for development. Battery life is indeed limited, but it also seems to charge really fast. I have added a second NVME drive to it to run an Ubuntu install on it.
It’s a very well featured premium creative powerhouse laptop and you got it at an incredible low price. The gen 9 is even better but it’ll be interesting to see if a Zen 5 or Lunar/Arrow Lake version will deliver all this and more, as well as adding decent battery life and even lower thermals. I’m especially keen to see how good the 14” version gets too.☺️
I bought a Yoga Pro 9i fully spec'd at work (I think except for RAM) and I was extremely disappointed by the performance mostly due to random slowdowns from probably 32GB RAM. Also it feels somehow clunkier, cheaper, and way heavier than my M1 MBP. Do you think a P14s gen 5 or a P1 with 64GB will be better?
They need to remove the shitty power button on the side, if you take apart the laptop you'll see it doesn't actually turn the laptop on as it needs a vertical not horizontal motion so there's a tiny, very tiny piece of plastic that moves to turn the computer on but its incredibly brittle, breaks easily and you can't get replacements so your expensive computer becomes a paperweight. Having a normal power button makes all the sense in the world but lenovo think they're too clever for that.

That's the 2023 Yoga Pro 9i, but this video is only three weeks old?

Battery life too short??
The lack of stylus compatibility was such a deal breaker for me.
Nice steal for a those on a tight budget, but I would still pick the gen 9 instead.
the intro music too loud , please adjuste it to match your voice

The P1 gen 7 and HP ZBook Studio G11 would be ideal options.
LG GRAM 16
with ultra 7 and 3050 please
Excellent review 👏🏿
is it 2 in 1 ?? 360 degrees ??
No it is not. This is a classic clam shell laptop. There is a 2 in 1 version but not as powerful
Gengra made me spit my drink out

Confused why a review of this model when there’s a 2024 version which is better in almost every way overall.
This is the one im looking at tho.
Same here,
@allworksnew I'm looking at the same one two, I don't know what's this guy's problem 🤷🏿♂️
Uhm, because people buy it? How dense are you?
