I'm so happy she said Luna. For me Luna is one of the most underrated, in her own lane, chilling VTubers out there. Glad someone in Hololive finally has her as their Oshi
Hime has a lot of admirers but yeah a holo openly admitting she's her oshi is nice too
Luna is so committed to her character and yet you can see so much of her real self (as far as we know) in it. She also has really good comedic timing and improv skills. Among the best honestly.
I seem to very vaguely remember that Luna is Oga's oshi, but might as well remember it wrong (I know he's close to Fubuki and Risu but might just be a huge Hololive fan in general)
Hime has probably one of the best and most loyal communities in whole vtubing. Knowing her past, it's such a shame that it happened to a kind person like herself, but the people who had supported her back then, is still supporting her even more now. And Luna's latest original explains on that more.
Hime is the not so secret badass of Hololive, a coder who rides a Harley, it's like she's straight out of a 80s action movie, like Hackerman from Kung Fury lol
She has one of the most unique style of humour and personality that no one else can pull off because no one else has a gap moe as wide range as her; How is this sassy child getting drunk going "Ha ha ha ha ha" while doing I-frame dodges through a monster's roar and then guard point into SAED while yelling "NNAAAAAAA"?

I remember seeing clips from those streams, I loved them! It's such a unique relationship, with Luna being a total troll and Marine trying to resist her aggression.
Had a feeling Riona was based like that. It's really heartwarming for me as a deadbeat to see a new jp member having calli as her musical inspiration and her reason she discovered hololive and want to be part of it.

Well, she got a lot of hate for that because people said since it was a viewers interaction game they said she was in essence calling her fans boring. Her viewership dropped and sub growth slowed after that stream. She did apologize for it and I hope people eventually forget it and this will just be a rookie mistake blip on her long career in holo.

@@TheRover87 why are people so sensitive lol liars bar specifically thrives on the interaction with the other players. If you aren't playing with friends or someone you'd have good rapport with such as long time dedicated fans, of course it'd be boring. She literally just started so there would be very little rapport with fans and very little you can really go on. It's like interacting with a coworker who just started. It's awkward because you don't know them yet so what do you even talk about?

People saying "oh hololive just recruits former celebs with no training on how to act as a streamer but nijisanji actually tries to train newbies through their virtual talent academy". It was kind of obvious it was just niji watchers hating on hololive. Really funny they bring up VTA though, considering what happened with it last year and a bunch of the trainees being terminated from the program.

Calli wasn't her inspiration to start rapping or VTubing though. She was already rapping before that, and she only said she learned about Hololive through Calli, not that she inspired her to start VTubing.

I think Marine has a decent percentage of female fans, who are obviously the ones who would apply to Hololive. And it's to be expected that the more popular talents with have most of the fans.
@ikr9358 yeah, i think girls like her because she is more openly female, most of the vtubers act more girly for the fans (and thats good, thats what we love) but marine is more direct and more "real" because she like erotism and all that stuff and is very vocal about it, i think its kind of like how japanesse men like luffy or naruto (from one piece) when he is super extrovert even tho the average japannese dont act like that

I don’t care for calli’s raps either, but to say a number of holomem’s are better than her is a stretch. Most of them just parrot what some JP songwriter or rapper provided. Just like most performances. I give her credit for actually writing stuff and performing it, more than other members.
Also, Comparing rappers outside of the vtuber sphere is also a moot point.
