I have been with a Dublin girl for six years. We broke up over a year ago but when I listen to this song I get that special Dublin nostalgia again. Oh how I loved her. I guess I still do.
I love the bassist wearing a Cure t-shirt; I only discovered this band this week and this was the second track I heard, I immediately thought this sounded like it could be a Cure track. Incredible band - so glad to have stumbled on them.
deego starts playing the riff, and i think "this sounds a bit like the cure" and behold, he has a pornography shirt on. brilliant. i can't wait to see them later this summer!

this song goes unnoticed so much in their discography, that's such a shame, it's one of their absolute best. Gets my guts every time
It's amazing.

Heartbreaking...a feeling that wont leave. Ring her today .
Come come Now
Eye don't know if eye could traust me.
@@aeropro7558 don't ring her 😂😂 that ideology only lives in your head most of the time.
Did you call her??
One of the most BEAUTIFUL songs every made - lyrically and musically!

Yeah that bass line is very Peter Hook/joy division
There is something so raw about this song, the way they play it live is incredible. It feels like the band are so connected

ahahaa brilliant! yes, totally cure cold period over this song!
memeix K when I first heard the bass the first thing that popped in my head was the cure
Deego, you and him mates? Lol
More you listen the better they sound
Lilly for the beggar
And...
Roses just for me 👌
Possibly my favorite version of this song
J'adore ❤️
They are so joy division in this song, I love how grian moves like ian curtis for this one
This album is the Irish version of London Calling. Might as well named Sha Sha Sha, if not the whole album, Dublin Calling. Now that've been cheeky.
Sounds much better than the album version (which is also good)
1000% agreed
So much better. No insult to Dan Carey, who's a really great and creative producer, but feel this song got a little bit constrained on the album.
ahhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 4:32 S2
Agree it's ✨
pumping!
Ok bass player, we would have known you liked the cure by that bass riff alone, you didnt have to wear a shirt to prove it !
cool t-shirts: The Cure, City Lights (the Lawrence Ferlinghetti's bookstore)...
Guitar rock is alive and well.
I hope they will visit Poland soon 🙌🏻
3 years later I saw them twice in Warsaw ❤ you’re my personal favourite lads! 🎉
I got it.❤
🙏🏻

He sounds like someone else that I can't put my finger on. Psychedelic Furs some but that is not who I am thinking of.
Kinda sounds like Ian Curtis from Joy Division
@@mysticedge4looks like him yeah. Sounds nothing like Ian though
Singer needs some lessons n the mix sounds a bit off which is odd for kexp
Listen to their latest LP, singing is a lot more in tune
Also I think they aren’t trying to sing perfectly it’s just a vocal style
It would sound a lot worse if the singing was note perfect.
Thats just the brashness and honesty of it
They are actually good. Not amazing but it is hard for me to get into things.
Simetry curious to see if things have changed a year on, as I was the same - but now can’t get enough of them... particularly this track
