11:54 I think they realized the blue didn't give him the intended banana hammock trunks and looked weird. 12:01 I believe these are '97 Bishop hands. That figure's gun, which almost looks like Cable's MvC2 gun, would be better than the Nerf guns they included. 13:36 Accuracy wise, the knee pads were also connected to the top of his boots in the game.
"The name's Cable, I'm from the future" And all I gotta say is that Nathan Summers aka Cable looks very badass with those guns because I don't even have a Cable figure from Hasbro and I would like to have him in my X-MEN display.
Honestly, I thought that Cable would have looked good on the Omega Red buck. I don't mind the extra height. I always felt that some of the characters on the old Hyperion body were going to be problems later. A lot of the characters on that buck are gun weilders. Those characters need butterfly shoulders to really pose their weapons. It would have been nice to get the old mold updated with butterflies and pinless joints.🤷🏽♂️
Thanks for your review on this variant of Cable Xmanny. It's 2024 and ML continues their practice of re-using the wrong parts. It wouldn't be such a sin if these parts were appropriate. That heel to butt display was clear evidence of how inappropriate ML re-uses them. When you compared the two variants, I have to admit I still like the BAF version. Thanks again.

I have always liked the X-Force #1/Epic collection ' under the gun ' cover look personally but the head sculpt on this guy looks spectacular, I'd get him for swaps alone if nothing else.
I love this outfit and it's always been my favorite look for cable Hopefully in the future we get marrow, blackheart, and shuma-gorath to complete the marvel roster for MVC2

The older cable figure, the head has to sit a lot higher to compensate for all the gear he's wearing, the neck is longer. The Capcom cable head sits lower where it's meant to be . That's throwing the height off a good bit. The new body is actually taller side by side

I just got this cable a couple days ago. It is so good. I love it. It’s the only figure I got from the wave. I’m considering wolves has been, but I don’t really collect X Factor. I do, but I don’t really love the team like I’m not really familiar with it so this is good and nice review
I swapped the right arm with a extra savage He Man I had and I have not put him down, he's too big for pockets but let's say he's been a pleasant travel companion, also the new arm is much stronger and proportioned better actually holds the BFGs I have, only thing I wish was different and I say this about all is a ball joint waist otherwise I love it.

Yeah a lot of imperfections. A big beef I have is all the bright yellow for the straps and pouches and stuff. Just BEGS for some dry brushing or other paint apps to bring out the details. But hey, since other blue/yellow Cable figs are either too pricey (Revoltech), too dinky (Toybiz ML) or both (Mezco), this one kinda wins by default with its affordability, heft and decent details.

The kit bashing is really noticeable and inconsistent, making the figure look all disproportionate. That pinned right arm covered in veins sticks out like a sore thumb. Classic Cable animated repaint with just a little bit of enhancements coming up. Hasbro design concept is how cheap can we go for characters that are popular because the collector will just buy the new repaint.
When it comes to proportions on figures, I’m a lot more lenient than most, but I agree with you. What the hell is up with those shoulders it looks like he’s growing an extra pair of arms there.

Amazing review dude you adressed all the discrepancies that kinda bother me with this figure and now that I think about it, that thing with the offcenter waist, may be the reason why they removed the paint in the crouch. If you look at the promo pictures it always look moved to one side so maybe they tried to make it less obvious by removing the paint to hide it.
You're the only reviewer so far pointing out the flaws of this figure. I may add a couple more, but don't wanna upset the hardcore legends' fans. Thank you for your objectivity!

I've been waiting decades! For this cable. So glad they went with mvc2 cable 👌 one of my top figures of the year, as well as mvc sabertooth.
