The 'Bringer being the sacrifice' theory adds up too because of the voice in the trailer saying : "Little girl, had it not been for then, you'd have long since perished in the hollow." Since we don't have much info on Miyabi, that line could only fall on Zhu Yuan, because she did say that she was saved by Bringer when she was younger
I personally think it might be the sacrifice that fused with breaker AND Lighter, look at the spikes and fighting stance. Would also explain why someone would want to make such a creature. The main bads want to create a singularity. Plus void theme zombies, little on the nose as it were, >>SEA

I came to a similar conclusion - I also believe it could be Bringer who becomes the Sacrifice 2.0 in patch 1.4, either due to some sort of desperation as you stated or T.O.P.S. (who could very likely be part of the old civilisation Hollow cult mentioned in the voice recording on the end of the event where you clean the laptop Nicole gives you from viruses) turned him into the Sacrifice to keep his mouth shut. The end villain will either be that cult as alleged leaks do reveal a depraved church like faction and a nun character becoming playable at some future point or someone even above them .... don't forget...there is a ancient hollow on the moon..
Bringer is certainly someone who is taking money under the table, which shows that Perlman does NOT want to spend a night in a Pubsec cell since he knows he wouldn't survive the night. Its likely someone from these cooperations have a hand in the fall of the old capital.

One last thing is in the enemy codex about one of the Outer Ring it says "Recent studies by the Whitestar Institute reveal that some Ethereals' limbs carry notable features from their environment. Fossor is a prime example of this - its strange forelimbs bear a striking resemblance to the drilling equipment found in the Old Oil Field region." Again supporting that its most likely Bringer.
I don't think the Bringer we see in here is the real Bringer. Remember everyone, after giving his protective gear to Zhu Yuan, he went back inside. What If something got to him there and now posing as him? It would make sense how his mannerism is changed.

Wow. 1.4 was amazing. Spoilers for 1.4 below. You were right. Bringer being the villain was something I didn't think about. Him being worried about the Sacrifice during the Belobog chapter just seemed like he was worried about this somehow affecting his election. I knew that there had to be bad guys in the police but I wasn't thinking about him. I was thinking of some hidden bad guy we haven't seen yet. That ending where the siblings just shrugged off that explosion was cool.
I wonder if we are closer to Lycaon's backstory/past with Hugo Vlad since his master wanted us as allies. Once we were introduced to Bringer, I was already suspicious of Bringer since he seemed to want more power than he already has and was acting weird. Also the Urban Stroll beat is so fire, found the song recently, def in my top 5 of the ZZZ soundtrack, I love it all😄

She was lucky they're able to keep it quiet, but still she should have been more careful on that front. Also something about Miyabi kind of unnerves me. The two real questions I have that I hope will be answered in the 1.4 patch are (1) Who does Victoria Housekeeping TRULY work for and (2) what is the true goal of the TOPS Alliance (or The Order… since I think they could be one in the same) with regards to The Sacrifice? Gah, I am so excited for this upcoming patch!
Order and TOPS could be intertwined with connections but not the exact same, think of how Jane is still public safety despite not being officially with Zhu Yuan's division (or whatever) and I doubt we'll learn so early into the game, but more like "TOPS is now on our watchlist in the future"
I think it's not just breaker or even breaker at all. It's looks like it may also be lighter. Spikes on the shoulder, spikes in some scenes. Look at the fighting stance this sacrifice is doing 14:48 That's lighter's stance and we know this sacrifice can fuse machines so it's not a stretch that it can fuse people. Hoyoverse is known for "logging off" characters in well "most" of their IP's

I knew he was sus as soon as the Sacrifice's remains were given to HAND, the panic in his voice was a clear red flag, but after remembering the Fake PubSec members back in Ch. 1 and everything else that connected to Bringer, I knew eventually we would expose this man for his crimes. Now after learning he'll becoming a boss enemy coming up in 1.4, I'm definitely bringing Zhu Yuan for Bringer's Downfall.
It was kind of weird seeing bringer's actual model, to the point where I questioned 'did we ever meet this character?' only realizing we did but only in comic panels and then they completely changed his model from how he looks in the comic panels. It was jarring. Side note, I hope as Bringer's replacement, they bring in Seth's brother. After doing a lot of his trust events I'm eager to see what that character is all about. I'm kind of hoping he will be like a Zane Truesdale from Yu Gi Oh GX.
Sarah is gonna betray Bringer last minute. He made a deal with sketchy people to save him from the hollow and has been a pawn in their pocket. Lastly, I hope we get to see more of Bringers' good side before he turns, bc that will just make the boss fight more sad, just like Pompeii.
