Im skipped most of the cutscene. Not because i don't like them but because my potato laptop couldn't render them so there's no point of watching them anyways. (well technically it could render but at like 3 fps so yeah)
I skipped every dialogue not that I hate the writing but because I know there will be recap videos such as these to binge after, also you replay them ingame if you want to
It took me a while because I found it all kind of weird at first, but around the end of chapter 1, something clicked and I had this moment, where it all kind of made sense. It's one of those stories you need to give a chance too because I find the intro a little off-putting (just like WuWa, just like Genshin).
3:57, just a clarification that whoever the player is playing, Belle or Wise, is the one that becomes Fairy's master, and Fairy then treats the other sibling as a rival for Master's attention. It's interesting that in other cases, like the Lumina Square car accident or getting lost in the hollow later, it's always Belle who is the victim, regardless of which sibling you are playing. So they don't switch up the story if you play the other sibling, the story stays the same either way. If you chose Belle for MC, during the lost in the hollow story mission you get to play Wise briefly, since Belle is lost and unplayable. So playing Belle enables you to play both siblings, if briefly, but I don't believe that is true if you play Wise. I may be wrong about that though, since I've only ever played Belle.
I love these type of videos. The game's lore sank its hooks deep in me and I've stuck around since day one, but admittedly some details may fly over my head sometimes, and lore recap videos like this one that's compact but full of details are a godsend. Thank you so much!
Thank you! Don't worry, the same thing happens to me. I had to review the story a few times because there were details I missed. Making this video helps me a lot too.
This video took longer than it should have, but that's life. My next video will be about Hollow Zero lore, then I'm planning some Genshin content. Thank you for watching, see you next time.
Could you make a video on the power system of zzz? Well, I mean genshin characters draws power from their vision, hsr character draws power from... idk haven't played it, but zzz characters Which uses their technology but I'm particularly confused about ellen, where does she gets her power, I mean I know that her shears freezes during attacks but the ice effects also can be seen on her tail, what's with that? Why is she different?
@@Sh_nsoul It’s funny you say that because I have thought about that. The answer is pretty straightforward because the elemental effects come from their signature W-engine. Ellen’s w-engine is able to instantly freeze nearby objects, which she uses to make frappes. I wasn’t sure if just a video on W-engines would be interesting enough, but I’ll consider it. Edit: Btw you can read it in the database at Box Galaxy
Another question, how the hell does rina float?, is it the blue aura?, if so, is it the same with qingyi’s aura when syncing with eous? And what is the source of this aura?
@@Sh_nsoul That's a good question, and one I don't know the answer to. I've looked into it and can't find anything that mentions why she can float. Maybe something will come up in the future, but who knows.
One more bit of foreshadowing. On at least two occasions, Wise makes an offhand comment about the past of the siblings, around the time of the fall of Old Eridu. There is some kind of long-term investigation they are pursuing that has to do with the fall of Old Eridu and the arrival of Hollow Zero. The mentions are easy to miss/skip, since they are so brief, but it's worth noting. Actually a lot of plot threads tie back to the fall of Old Eridu, like the mystery around what happened with Koleda's father and the mystery around Anby's military training and the mystery around Anby's resemblance to Soldier 11.
Thanks a bunch, I like the story for ZZZ so far, I just get distracted after having to grind for a bit to level up to continue the story so I'm glad I can make sure there's nothing I missed.
I like how cool victoria Housekeeping is, they all have such interesting stories I especially wanna see the backstories of Rina, Lycaon and Corin since they seem to have a dark past all three
Thank you for the video, I hope you'll continue this series with the release of other major patches that continue the main storyline. I tried playing zzz, but sadly time doesnt accommodate another game
I have good news because I definitely will keep making these recap videos. I like talking about this game and I know a lot of people don’t have the time to experience themselves, so I’m happy to help.
Truly the best lore recap video. It’s essential to the lore that you mention how Belle or Wise while controlling Eous hit that arms crossed Gianax pose on that moving train.
I wasn't vibing with the Sons of Calydon because of Piper or Lucy, but Burnice, Caesar, and Lighter made me change my mind real quick. 3 weeks is too long..
I believe the person who hired Victoria housekeeping to God and clean up the ballet Towers it's the same person who hired The Mercenaries in the towers because strangely enough after the job is done their client basically canceled their contract with Victoria house cleaning and drop their investment on the hotel
Good summary, I watched to the end. In addition to the foreshadowing shown during the first connection to Fairy, I think it's important to also mention that Fairy is one of four keys (other AIs) and seems to be part of a larger plan/conspiracy involving legendary hollow heroes/villains, as shown in the lore teaser "Where the Miracle Began." This may be important to the "blue glowing eyes" foreshadowing that happened to whoever agrees to be Fairy's master. This "pain in the eyes" is repeated a couple of other times in the story, so it's probably significant.
Had to skip dialogue here and there cause I feared I'd be too far behind in account progression! (now that I'm caught up I'll get to enjoy the story as is) thanks for the video!
Great summary! I had to watch because I didn't honestly understand chapter 3. Listening to your summary, I didn't miss anything. It's not right to say "nothing happens" in chapter 3... but IMO nothing of consequence happens in chapter 3. It literally felt like filler and it pissed me off because the missions were so long and had way too many TV sections. No big reveals like monster in Chapter 2, and not much world building like in chapter 1. The story just fizzled out; there was no conclusion. I like the characters, but it really felt like chapter 3 went nowhere. I get it... it's supposed to set up the adventure to come, but it needed to add something to the plot, some stakes. When chapter 3 ended, I was like "that's it? so, now what?". Well, now nothing apparently. The next story is Jane Doe's story, which I cannot bring myself to finish... I can write a novel on why I don't like it, which further added to how unsatisfying chapter 3 was. Apparently, we did what we were supposed to do in chapter 3 and I don't know what we did. Perlman got away... Who cares? I wasn't invested in his prosecution anyway, because it was painfully obvious he was going to escape somehow. I don't know why he had to the go to the Ballet Twins to escape - if the plan was to just gas everyone, he could have just done that and flown for the Outer Rim. If that wasn't the plan, the WTF was Perlman's escape plan? The more I think about it, the angrier I get because I feel like my time was stolen / wasted. I still don't know the relevance of the data Rain was hacking. I absolutely hate how people keep saying "the sacrifice", "the monster", and make it seems o obvious that we should all know who it is/was. F**k it. I give up. If the monster/sacrifice is Khors Belobog, maybe I'm still interested. If it's anything/anyone else, then I clearly don't get the story or it was told too poorly for me to get it. it wouldn't have killed Hoyo to at least tell us that much. I have no idea how any of this chapters fit together aside it's just the adventures that Belle and Wise go on from time to time like an anthology... but come on! Genshin's versions all have complete arcs. They're not all winners, but you get a full story. HSR's story on Jarilo VI was easy to understand: you come in search of the stellaron, you fight, you win, you save the planet. Easy peasy. Even WuWa's 1.0 story - weird as it was - made me think Rover had saved the world from impending doom. How does ZZZ's story get a pass? Maybe the real story was the agents we met along along the way. :P
thank you so much for this recap! its really hard for me to pay attention to the story so i end up skipping, but i do care about the story! will you make recaps per version?
