@ Little more complicated than that. We were on a desert strip in Rashid (Mauretania), specially prepared for our landing there. It was hot (36°), the strip was short (500 m) and we were all loaded to the brim (two PAX, full fuel and bagguage). The pilot was nervous and gave full throttle while still on parking brake. Upon releasing the brake, the plane went into a pitch oscillation that, accelerated by a tiny pot hole on the ground, was sufficient to cause a very brief prop strike. Appearently, the crew in the plane didn't even notice it (I did, because I was standing there, next in line to take off)

They sealed the tips with epoxy glue. It flew flawlessly all the way home as far as I know...
