Hate to say it, but I found it very sad. She's such a pleaser. I realize it's her job, but there's a point where a practical person would have said, maybe this just isn't going to work. I mean, can you even imagine putting Crystal on stage in that condition? Sadly, comparing her to a Golden retriever was an apt analogy!
Besides...they probably shortened her life by a couple of years!

@@carlwilliams6977 You don't "hate" to belittle people. You love everything about your comment. You love everything about yourself. No need to lie Carl, just say it "You think your sh!t smells like banana pie"... I get it my man. We all start off thinking we know everything and critique others without ever even taking a glance at ourselves in the mirror. Some make it out of that self-centered view of the world and everything in it, most do not. Either way, just know that your comment lacks humility in any real sense, so you haven't made it out yet ;)

I knew someone who lost their wallet in Japan he had his California license in it. Someone shipped it to California to his address with the cash and everything in it. All it said was "hope your trip was fun" no mention of who sent it back. They are honorable people.

I'm about a third of the way through a planned 3 and 1/2 year stay in Japan. Nearly 2 weeks ago, I returned home to California for a very brief business trip. I completely agree with Jimmy - the whole time I missed the cleanliness (as well as the civility and customer service) of Japan. This even extended to my flights. On the way to LA, I took an American carrier because of the more convenient flight schedule, and ended up regretting that decision. On the way back I was on a Japanese airline, and it felt like I had returned to Japan the moment I walked on board.

Not only are the Japanese exceptionally clean but also exceptionally honest. While visiting an aquatic and botanical park in Okinawa a few years back, I realized that I had left my video camera somewhere near the aquarium. I took the little train back down from the botanical garden and explained to the train driver in my broken Japanese that I had forgotten my camera at the aquarium. He called ahead. When we arrived a Japanese employee greeted my wife and I and we followed her upstairs where she presented the video camera immaculately wrapped for protection and only asked me to identify the make. ...done and I had my camera back. In fact I know Jpan so I was not worried that I would lose it.
Had this been the US (I'm American) or Europe where I live, that camera would already have been in someone's pocket as new found treasure. Not so in Japan. And when you have an appointment with a Japanese person, they arrive exactly on time. One minute late will result in bowing and apologies for being late.
    In short...Love Japan!

    • @handsome-km9cr
      @handsome-km9cr 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

they aren't exceptionally honest. this is just a western misunderstanding of the way things are done here. they steal and keep things they find, but they are selective about it and it isn't based on the inherent value. it's based on how they found the item and it's a type of training they all go through their whole lives.
so a bit like pavlov's dog, if they find something exceptionally valuable, but on a train in front of people, that item will be returned.
if they find a few dollars in someone's wallet alone in a private corner - that person will never see that item again. i've had wallets lost and never returned, but wallets and keys lost and returned. we've had toys returned, but i also had multiple bikes stolen and a $5000.00 family heirloom left on the train and never returned either.
the myths about japan are kind of ridiculous. just because they learn and teach their public differently about returning things doesn't make them more moral people. that's a western lens attributing ethics to a place where it doesn't belong.

Debris that falls off of cars or blows out of car windows, litter that either blows out of trash cans or was never put into a trash can, then leaves and natural stuff.

I lived in SC for 6 months and while a friend drove me around he tossed a can of coke on the side of the highway. When I objected he stated that that pay people to clean it. Well,, the side of hiways or back roads have not been cleaned since they were built. Keep it in your car till you see a trash can and that is not the streets 😊😢

He's helping some elderly guy collecting aluminum to buy cat food to eat. And when the elderly guy is to weak from starvation they use slave labor from the local jail. So in a sense he's donating to the cause.

When I lived in GA, I came to call those highway diamonds. They sparkle in the sunshine.

It's nice to hear somebody address modern slavery. Hard labor for pennies/hour is so obvious people don't wanna see it

That is why many states, like mine, have bottle deposit laws! Since it went up to $0.10/container with more types included, they don't stay on the side of the road long.

After the meltdown of their Nuclear Reactor, when aid was distributed, the people waited in an orderly fashion with no panic or chaos. Older people also volunteered to help with cleanup in sensitive areas and were exposed to radiation because they had lived a full life and wanted to protect the younger generations. Their respect for the elderly and family values and the society they live in is above any comparison.

The Japanese are awesomely honest . My gff had this sailor boyfriend and we requested Japanese umbrellas which he left at the store. A month or so later , he retrieved those and it was still there for safekeeping.
