I’d personally choose the new Audi A6 instead and save money as you get the same stunning interior and tech. The A7 is great though, loving what Audi are doing lately.

One thing that I think could be done to in some way equalize the crazy imbalance on the pricing of cars in Ireland would be to only charge VRT on the BASE PRICE of the vehicle. Options should be charged at normal vat but exclude the VRT. All the big players Audi, BMW, Merc... by the time you add on the "bells n whistles" the price can be an extra 25-40% extra. Thoughts? You can comment on Sunday Service! :-)
To be fair, Audi’s options list is quite addictive, this car does not start at 100 grand, as standard the car comes with many features that most will find substantial.
Jack Barrett but quite a few of the ones advertised don’t come as standard you have to add them in correct me if I’m wrong but the dancing lights is an option quite a few of the assistive driving aids again an addition leather yup add on what about 20/21” rims yuuuuup add on sound system simple case of how annoying this can be I’m buying a 2019 S5 sportback I had to pay for electric fold mirror that’s on an €85 base price car 😂
Dave Barry yup but if like me options are like sending a child in to the sweet shop and saying pick one... the s line is on top of the base price what I was suggesting is the a7 sly or base line is vrt and then the cost of adding s line or b and o sounds are non vrt also the 20” rims on the s line are not the best so if you go with 21” or a different style option they are all extra
They group all engines, no matter whether they are Diesel, Hybrid, petrol or electric according to the power in kW that the engine is producing. That's what the number means + then they add the familiar TDI, TFSI etc. at the end. These are the groups: 30: 81 to 96 kw 35: 110 to 120 kW 40: 125 to 150 kW 45: 169 to 185 kW 50: 210 to 230 kW 55: 245 to 275 kW 60: 320 to 338 kW 65: currently not used 70: more than 400 kW Slightly weird system and takes some getting used to but it makes sense given that in this day and age of turbo and biturbo engines, hybrids, mild hybrids and so on the traditional classifications based on enginge size did not really make much sense anymore and was kind of confusing, if not actually misleading. The Mercedes E class comes to mind, where everything from E200, over E250 and E300 right up to the E350 are actually 2.0 liter, 4 cyl engines... The E180 is a 1.6, the E450 is a 3.0, the AMG E63 is a 4.0 and so on...
There's a rumble is all my videos but it depends on your speakers/headphones. The mic I use is particularly good and so it picks up more noise but it's the true noise of the car. I sometimes use a lap mic and that isn't the true noise but is clearer for speaking.

Since most buyers will need to come from cities to pay for it, then an engine aimed at long distance driving and country road stability will not garner much sales. We can also assume the car tax based on emissions will continue to rise and the 3.0L Quattro has higher emissions than any 2.0L car tax and vrt car package

Bob, its a good, well made car etc etc but do you ever find yourself questioning whether you are biased towards VW group products? Since the diesel scandal, where VW was found to be killing people in order to avoid meeting standards set to protect health & the environment, I will never buy a vw car again....as long as i can avoid it anyway. Others seem to follow the same thinking - VW group sales down most of any car maker as a percentage...considerably more then the maker with 2nd most fall....will you join me in boycotting the company which risked your long-term health too.
Audi are women unfriendly. On no occasion over the years can I get a quote only seem to deal with men. I have a Audi but changing due yearly massive devaluation after 1-2 years, why won't they give a return phone call or quote- only will deal with my husband.

Prices are only going one way Joe, up. WLTP will make cars more expensive again. Extras were always that, an extra.

A7 S Line has those lights as standard - as well as 20" wheels and an Audi sound system (10 speakers | 180watt - should be enough for most people) :)

How does the new Audi numbering system work? I see thats a 50 tdi but you say its 3litre, cant get my head around whats what on the numbers.

Almost nobody here will buy the 3.0L TDI. It will be the Ultra with narrow tires and performance deadening features, not Quattro either

I test drove but prefer the Citroën DS5, better quality and value. Audi is so overpriced and not worth what they are asking
