A "Carmina Burana" Flash Mob

- To celebrate and commemorate its 30th anniversary season, members of The Long Bay Symphony of Myrtle Beach, SC staged a Flash Mob featuring music from Carl Orff's stunning Carmina Burana. Dr. Charles Jones Evans conducted, with members of the Carolina Master Chorale, the Coastal Carolina University Concert Choir, and the Hartsville High School Advanced Honors Choir assisting.
Many thanks go to the staff at Dillard's of Myrtle Beach and Manager Jim Chegin, who graciously hosted the event, to Dr. Timothy Koch, director of the adult choirs, and to James Beaumier, Artistic Director of the youth choir for making the event a success. - เพลง
I heard Carmina Borana for the first time in the Wirwatersrand University Hall , sung and played by the students l!❤ what an impressive piece of music!!

When I was in the 7-9 grades we were stationed overseas and I was at an all boys grammar school. Our orchestra combined with the girls’ orchestra to play Carmina Burana. Mostly because we didn’t have a lot of violinists I was put first violin second chair, next to a girl a couple years older than I was. Full of hormones I just didn’t want to play wrong notes or look like a fool in front of her. There were times where the sheet music called for a note so high off the scale I just guessed what it was. Sometimes I just moved my bow in time with hers.

What an interesting sound. All the reverb and echo cancelled through all of the knitwear. Ooooops.
I couldn't run mic cables over to the musicians so had a stereo pair back at the main camera. Thought it would be too revetberant but cane out pretty good. The wireless mic was mostly for the conductor's comments but became a center channel in the final mixdown.
All things considered, still such an incredible performance.
