- This weekend was the unofficial end to the summer season, Labor Day.
While there are still tons of events taking place in the Wildwoods in the off-season, this is usually the last time we get to see everyone.

It was a difficult summer this year but Wildwood helped my family become closer and get us through some hard times. My father died July 4 and we weren't expecting his departure. I wish everyone would understand how special Wildwood is to some families. From growing up in Kensington to spending family vacations at 8th and Ocean for many year to living in Jenkintown and again spending our family vacations at 21st. It is our haven our get away our love. I can go anywhere we choose Wildwood. God bless you and your wife Joey God bless Ukraine and God bless Wildwood NJ.

Hi Andy. I'm very sorry to hear about your dad. I'm quite sure he is still hanging around Wildwood when you guys are there. I feel the same thing about my mom and my two aunts you have passed away and who we always went down there with for family vacations. I personally have not been able to get down there for several years just for financial reasons, but I absolutely understand how special Wildwood is to my family. Take care
Btw, back in the day we always stayed at the Nantucket in Wildwood but in later years we flocked to North Wildwood and stayed at the Kings inn or the Avalon on 26 and boardwalk. Gateway 26 what's the best arcade and the claw machines provided us with many take-home plushies. LOL so nice to share these memories with someone.

It was a memorable weekend. I was there from Friday to Monday with my brother and sister. My parents came to join us on Saturday. 😃😃
It's still odd to me to see the beautiful sightline of the boardwalk without Castle Dracula being the dominate structure :( I miss Castle Dracula so much.. Great vid Joey. You always capture the most beautiful shots.

Let me say this, wildwood is my second home hands up I love wildwood me and my family had amazing adventures this summer let me say that for shore it is hard being back in the school but ik it’s hard leaving the shore until Memorial Day. Well I’m going October fest so yeah but I miss 4 July, Memorial Day, beach blast, bday , and other weekends not even with holidays lol but love you wildwood miss you beach rides water park see ya 2023 for VaCAy lol miss it !!
Came up from Florida to visit in July and will be back in November for another visit. My grandparents owned a house on New York Ave in Cape May and spent alot of summers down there. Once I retire, I want to live in Cape May. When the time comes, we'll see if it's financially feasible.

When do all the close for the year
Living in this town for 33 years I'll say that it's mundane and the whole boardwalk needs an overhaul. If you want to justify these ridiculous prices add more amusement to your amusement parks and stop giving 20+ y/o rides paint jobs and hiking up the prices.
Wow! Somebody had the nerve to say something. Was down Labor Day Sunday for the day and couldn't believe the priced. Me and my 1 yr old grandson went on the merry go round, and for the 2 of us, it was $13. You serious? Wildwood has always been a special place for me ( family vacations) but I can honestly say that we don't miss going there any more. Started going through North Myrtle Beach yrs ago and haven't looked back. So much more for the money.
