Helicopters Dipping Water From Lake Arrowhead For Line Fire

AREA/CITY: San Bernardino Mountains
DETAILS:
The Line Fire continues its explosive behavior as it tears through the forest.
On the north side of the fire near Running Springs, the fire has now completely flanked the town of Running Springs and is making a powerful run to the northeast of Keller Peak moving northeast.
The opposite side of the highway has explosive activity as the fire continues its move towards and around Highway 38.
The major concern now is for the towns of Forest Falls and Angles Oaks.
Fire has been mapped early this morning at 21,202 acres.\
Helicopters have been using Lake Arrowhead as their dipping site all night and all day.
Dozens of spectators are watching multiple helipcopters drop down and draft water.
The helicopters were so close to the shore that the mist created by the rotors drenched people.

God bless those extremely talented helicopter pilots. As those tanks fill, they are compensating for the added weight to remain stationary. They are flying into hazardous wind and thick smoke, I order to do their jobs.

This is the lake near lake arrowhead community hospital, I was born there.
That is nothing to brag about. I would be embarrassed to admit it. They aren't allowed to deliver babies anymore because of so many law suits.

Hard for me to watch, as a young child we lived in Diamond Bar, we had a fire close enough that the fire dept came to our house, we packed our bug out bags and slept in clothes so we could get our shoes on quickly grab the bag at the foot of our beds and run.

All these fires and the arrest that was made for the line fire supposedly the man that was arrested also supposedly he attempted the fire 3 times before starting the blaze. Immediately after the fire a day or two later California files for a state of emergency fund and it got approved almost instantaneously. We We're fine then all of a sudden a fire brakes out before the end of summer. I just question everything especially when it seems fishy 😞 momma always said if it waddles and quacks like a duck then baby it ain't no swan 😂 this to me looks like there may be more to the story wish I could interview the line fire guy and get his take on why he started the line fires 🔥 😮 hmmm gotta keep the wheels turning I guess 😢😮

I live with large tanks on the top of the hill near my house. Would it make sense to just put corrugated steel tanks all over the mountains that have not burned to the ground yet?
Of course, at the highest elevations, burned mountains could make more snow slope to ride on.
