Why was China able to redesign the strap? He must have allowed it. I know where I worked in manufacturing, we couldn't even change to a particular machine or new method without going thru protocol hoops & permissions from the customer even if the end game was the exact same.
Hopefully someone didn't sabotage the design, to sell a knock off for less or even worse, if someone got paid off to sabotage the design because a competitor paid them to ensure it would fail (this DOES happen). I'm not saying that this is what happened or that I think this happened.
This is cringe. He came in super confident. He was even being silly with ARod during the presentation. And then the story unfolds. I hope he gets back up!
He literally proved Lori right at the end straight away offering her the business 🤣
"it will become your baby" bro was just looking for paycheck
After Lori tells him he didn’t watch over the business like his baby he tries to sell his baby 😂
😂😂😂😂
Just got word she didn't accept his baby dew to no milk production.
😂
That just tells u. He’s probably in a desperate position in his life and wants to make some money
One of the worst pitches I’ve seen tbh
Not much man just taking a dump and watching some TH-cam
The presentation itself was alright, the questions afterward killed the whole thing.
He's way too eager to get rid of his company. There's something really wrong with it that wasn't discovered yet.
"it becomes your baby" - proved Lori's point.
guy just wants someone else to do the work and to collect a check lol
Isn't that the shark tanks definition?
That’s literally every investor on shark tank
😂😂😂
That's every deal Kevin does.
First time I’ve heard someone not know how much they’ve sold.
He knows, probably a bad number
How tf do you collect royalty without knowing how much it's sold? Do they just trust the business to give him the right amount?
Poor guy, he's an inventor and engineer not a business guy. It's the slick talking "business guy" who is more likely to get the deal.
Then he needs to find the "business guy" to partner with. Entrepreneurship is a team sport

1:50 notice how the guy isn’t holding the strap tight like the others, which is what contributed to them breaking
Tbf it would probably not break anyway
It would have made no difference.l
@@hollow_dbd I feel like it would have contributed to some damage on the strap at minimum
The camera definitely shows him creating tension for the cable rope and not creating any for his product.. not a fair test

Hilarious, that way first thought then I thought they might be wild pattern shoes so I gave him a chance.

Roman invented sandals and ruled the world, then were defeated when socks were invented (and german tourist invaded).

That lock strap cut demo can be easily faked. The lock strap wasn't pulled taught for cutting like the cable and the chain.
I came here for this.

All the reasons that people don’t like Kevin, are all the reasons why I love him. “Why can’t we just tell the truth…arf arf.”
The other sharks write down important info about the pitch and calculations, Barbara just writes all the reasons why she's already out

Why probably the specification was incomplete and the Chinese factory took advantage from that.
The carabiner itself is the weak point. I would never trust this thing to lock up my bike.

Chicken wrap and smart water for me today😂😂

I have a few lockstraps. They work well
Did he not come in with any preparation?
He got a global licensing deal, he's enjoying the royalty income now while it's being sold on amazon and their website.
You know that you are primed to witness greatness when Kevin is on the panel and the entrepreneur isn’t answering questions directly.
Enjoy lunch everyone, today's Rice with Sambal Prawn and chicken
Who would do business with A Rod. Untrustworthy and selfish.
I wonder how the bold cutters would do on the carabiner piece?
The factory in China screwed him big time
"Lockstrap" sounds like the name of a company in Grand Theft Auto.
"Get my company back up on my feet" 💀😂
angle grinder or bolt cutter, job done under 5s
This was painful to watch... 😭😭😭
Bro was shaking on his way out
So just cut the cloth with scissors or a blade first, then use the bolt cutter to cut through the steel?
Bro I was halfway thru the video when I realized there's a whole F-150 in that studio.
Love Kevin... he is himself.. no pretending no bs..
I’ll be a customer. My supervisor cuts our locks at my job when someone needs a dolly

So if it's a combination of cloth and steel, then the thief has to cut away the cloth first with a pair of scissors and can then cut away the steel.
Yeah he just didn't care enough.
I love how bored Kevin is at 2:14 but he's still asking for a sample.
