That doesn’t mean they’re profitable.
@DOC_951 gyms are easy to make profit. Not a lot of burn. Once you have the equipment you're just paying rent and some kids minimum wage like every other business. But not constantly on product like other companies.
So my bet is profitable.
It's why storage places are everywhere, no cash burn

For retail, they need to have a model that’s way cheaper, like $1500. They can have a $6000 model for clubs, and probably needs to add entertainment to it for this price, like peloton. They can probably lose the bulky arms and just be the back, bottom, and a screen in front.

Sure the concept is nice of having a combined weight type equipment with treadmill style, but even in regular gyms everyone is always doing such different exercises and different equipment that you never know what methods may work better for more people than just this.

This machine is big and expensive... and when I see theis belt.... I think about hygine... I would not like to use some others belt, so I must buy my own belt and they must manufacture a new fast connection to the machine. Such belt can cost another 100 dollars?

How is that even true… every sprinter at top speed, literally has their torso up right and are striking the ground with their knees in front of them.

Damon… Kevin… would you rather work out walk and jogging on a treadmill watching tv for 1 to 2 hours or get an intense work out that you just describes in 30 to 60 min and burn the same and possibly more calories. If time is money this is a no brainer.
I would personally use the Sproing Machine daily 💯

I was wondering about that. Intense training/running and maybe improper use of the treadmill? I have run all my life and at 61 years old I have never been injured running.

A lot of ideas without showing the real concept or focus of the business. They could have all that stuff but they had to develop and focus in one idea although they add the additional ideas or whatever.
The problem with shark tank is, these guys arent real investors and the program is for entertainment purposes only and if they happen to make some money on an investment so be it. They are not in the business of investing but entertainment.
I guess most people arent smart enough to realize that these guys have never invested their own money into any of the companies that appeared on Shark tank because they get a 10 million dollar salary when the program first aired which they then had an understanding that a part of that money should be used to invest or rather pretend to invest.
So, here is the application for that product. UFC Fighters, Boxing, Soccer, Rehab, strength training, Military, Runners who compete, and the intense athletes who arent athletes. Most people would be surprised to know how big the body building communities are and how big the strength and conditioning communities are.
The gym are for people who want to waste time pretending to work out and goggle at each other in a fashion contest..

Every year there’s always a new fad like this. A few years ago everyone talked about peloton, paying $3000 for a treadmill. Now, I haven’t heard anyone say the name in literally years.

Another dumb gimmick, actually the best kind of running is barefoot believe it or not. This is because our feet are like negative and positive cables grounding our energy body with the ground. Similar to rubbing your feet through the grass of your yard. This is actually good for you. And you will definitely feel the difference. Run barefoot on sand at the beach. Run on grass. Our feet is actually what helps us keep balance
