Excellent footage, Norman! Thank you for sharing. My initial reaction was, I'm watching the birth of a tornado. But by the end, it felt like a stillbirth. I am not a meteorologist, so would you please explain a few things. Did we see the entire life-cyle of this tornado? Was the tornado opening or closing on your position?
Athens OH was specifically named after the one in Greece because it was meant to be a great seat of learning and education in America.. Ohio University is one of the oldest universities in the western hemisphere and I believe it was the first founded university in America after the revolution and final touches on the government were made. Other places in America are named after other places so often because they were founded by people that came from that original town/city.
