    In this video we take a look at the very clever new menu replacement (and SO much more) tool from those clever chaps at Parallel 42 with a short flight in the Blackbird Beaver.
    As always //42 bringing innovative design and clever features this is something well worth checking out.
    Flow will be available from Orbx on launch.

  • @donc9751
    @donc9751 ปีที่แล้ว

    I actually bought the Pro version of Flow some time ago, but havent had the time or opportunity to set it up and learn much about it. The way you prefaced the Pro version saying "if youre clever enough to use it" makes me wonder if ill be spending alot of time learning to take real advantage of all its features.
    I fly almost 100% in VR. Only on some test flights do i fly in 2D. People seem to think its great so i figured what have i got to lose for the price.

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The beauty of it is that if you aren’t up to writing the widgets etc then it is actually beautifully simple. I guess what I meant was if you are clever enough to ‘program’ the widgets.

    • @donc9751
      @donc9751 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Dreamsofwings Thank you for clarifying about the widgets!! I have no idea about doing any of that either but at least it'll give me a good enough reason to at least read up about it (rtfm) enough to find out if it's worth it to learn how! Either way a useful sounding program. I know nothing of scripting either as far as doing them for pc's to run code or whatever it's used for. Thanks for the good video!

    Thanks. So does this mean we can now spawn at the departure airport with the flight plan loaded and "teleport" to an airport along the route without loosing the flight plan and continue flying? Currently we can't do this, without slewing or something.

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, using the Portal widget won’t break your flight plan as you aren’t exiting the flight as such.

    • @Dreamsofwings
      @Dreamsofwings  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It takes it from the menu data in MSFS, ie if the MSFS online friends data is showing them online then so should Flow. If it isn’t then best raise a ticket with //42 with some screenshots.

    • @Dreamsofwings

      @@rwy12 no problem, so you need to go into the Controls menu in MSFS and assign that control to whichever keyboard key or controller button you want to use.
