Its fantastic that a British term/word that you may not be familiar with, that you paused and researched it. I wish everybody did that, instead of letting it go by or asking someone to leave it in the comments section, when it takes only matter of 10-20 seconds to google it.

Agree. Not letting things go over your head means you "get it". This is a great channel for reactions. It's my guilty pleasure. Probably because I like making playlists and recommending stuff to mates. I like seeing an American get British comedy

After Work Reactions yeah no problem, better like that - correct me if I’m wrong but I think council estate = projects.
Even if it did take a while to research some of the terminology/references you can always cut part of it if it goes too long anyway.

Josh, I can appreciate just how difficult it must have been for your mum and family growing up. I am Australian, and like the UK we have a universal welfare system, unlike the US.
It must have been extremely difficult for your mother to raise a family without much government support.
To raise a man such as yourself, positive, with a good sense of humour and the BEST laugh; not bitter and cynical, is a testament to your mother. I would hope you are as proud of her as she must be of you.
There is another guy, Jamal, who does reaction videos (music) and he had a similarly tough upbringing as your good self. And like yourself, he brings the light of positivity and the love of humanity to those of us across the world.
Such good men. You inspire and show what being a true man is.
    peace out.

When I was very small, I thought we were rich, because we always had wonderful Christmas presents (mostly homemade). I overheard my parents talking about money one day and I said, "Daddy, are we poor?" and he said, "No, we just don't have much money, but we have each other."

I always thought Kool Aid was just a brand of pop, I never knew it was something you had to mix.

@@sjwillis1137 When ppl say that it's a reference to the Jim Jones cult and the massacre at Jonestown. Drinking the Kool aid means following blindly, e.g. like a cult member. It's widely (wrongly) believed around 900 ppl in the cult drank poisoned Kool aid at Jones' instruction in a mass suicide. But in fact most of them wouldn't drink it willingly and were actually murdered (including over 300 children) and it wasn't even Kool aid, it was Flavor-aid.

Everytime I get a new TV, I always bring it in after dark 😂😂😂 smaller electrical goods either go in my backpack or covered with a small blanket. Boxes cut up and taken directly to the tip (communal dump).

I recommend his radio series "What Chance Change" from 2009 (available on Audible, Podbean etc). Lovely comic writing about his life. In those days I'd never heard of him, so at first I thought it was a mockumentary!

Where Mickey is from, is like your projects. It wasn't like that back then, but now council estates where Mickey is from are dangerous places. Mickey literally made it out!!
Your reactions are the best mate. Glad you get Mickey's humour 🇬🇧

I'll keep that stuff in mind that you said about empty boxes for expensive tech eqiupment and that in the rubbish and people breaking in because they know what you've got in your house because I'd never even given it a second thought tbh I just crush the box it came in and putting it in the bin. But if the bin is full and the box is sticking out then that's a bit of a give away what we have in our house lol. Anyway great video mate, keep up the good work!

I think the 2 main Micky Flanagan sets that I’d love for you guys to check out is ‘stealing’ and his ‘going out out’ bit which was the main introduction for most people to him and it became a sort of catchphrase people adopted into regular conversation
