    I did not see this before buying my original cab from OCC. I only go 1200 into mine so it was good for my budget. however I got to remove it for backhoe use and for storage as I don't want to bang it up or rip it. I may have spring for 2300 option had I saw this before. Oh and I have the 1026R not sure if they make this for that model.

    Great video! I've had a Curtis cab on a John Deere 4300 for three years. Very well built, easy to install. Definitely get the optional lights and switch box. I snowblow a three mile road in NW Montana, it was -20 last week. The wind shifted and turned the tractor into a popsicle, the windshield stayed clear with the Curtis heater. I run with the heat on and door windows open and stay plenty warm. We remove the doors during the summer, I've never regretted not having AC.

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      John Deere does not offer a cab for my tractor. When they do offer a cab they normally cost around $10,000. This cab can be had as cheaply as $2500.
      That’s 25% of the cost. Huge difference.

    Can I get one of those for a 1025r? How hard was it to install? Great video thanks. When are you going to upload the install of the cab? Can't wait to see step x step on how to install the cab? I would like to order a cab like this for my 2009 John Deere 4120 and install it myself, but do NOT want to go through a John Deere Dealership. They are terrible to work with on getting an order going for you and am having trouble getting one shipped to my HOME ADDRESS. We live out in the Country. I have forks for my tractor where I could unload the product. Any advice you have would help in how to pursue this?

    I have a Curtis cab on my 19 1025R the front windshield gasket leaks keeps coming loose and has since new, doors gaskets leak and come off, bought Curtis Rounds lights they both leak h2o they are both shot now, not even 3 years old I talked to the dealer about this, but I was just outside the 1 year my bad, and now the rear wiper motor died first time plowing snow this year, and the mirrors vibrate and move on you every time you close the door and I did tighten up so they are a joke, did you notice his mirrors had moved, this CAB has been a Nightmare and it was installed by the John Deere dealer when I purchased the tractor new, poor engineering and they do not stand behind it!!! I emailed them about getting an upgraded roof that was not flat I got 1 reply and then nothing and frustrated customer.

    Great Video Brock. Say what is the height from the floor to the top of the Curtis cab? Can the ROPS still be lowered with the cab on? For my situation I cannot fit my tractor in through the garage door with the ROPS up, but if I could put it down and have a cab like this on it and it would fit that would be awesome. Thanks!

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Rops go up and down the same way. It is not affected by the cab
      The top of the cab is 83 1/2 inches on mine.
      Your tires could affect that height if they are not R4 like mine
      Curtis states that it is 60 inches above your floorboard. My floorboard is 26 inches high so it actually seems like it came out a little lower than they state
      My garage doors are not standard. They’re actually quite short at 78 inches so mine will not go. I’ve never put my tractor in the garage so that didn’t matter to me. I have another building for it
      My truck only clears by 1 inch

    • @travispohlman669
      @travispohlman669 3 ปีที่แล้ว
