Hi there! Very good job!!! I’m texting all the way from São Paulo, Brazil and I’d like to be sure about the concentration!!! Is it 2 grams of potassium chloride to 1 liter of what kind of water? RODI? Tank water? Tks a lot!!
Very Interesting! Can we get clarification on some items. Bill mentions something about 1500ppm potassium chloride and the person in China using 2 KG. How does someone measure that value of 1500ppm if dosed directly into a tank? If we where to remove the water, spray with 2g/1 L (I'm assuming this is tank water mixed with Potassium chloride) and then refill the tank, then bubble code the tank... I'm assuming you would run carbon afterwards to remove the potassium? I'm assuming the same water goes back into the tank so not to shock the corals with any further differences in PH, salinity, temp, etc..
I'm super interested in this treatment. What I don't understand is at 3:10 in the video he said the guy added 2 grams to the tank. How is adding 2 grams directly to the tank any different than spraying the corals with a spray bottle mixed with 2 grams??? . Once you put the water back in the potassium chloride is still in the tank??????
Thanks for watching! It all depends on the size of your system and how you set it up! You can run an all in one system quite cheap these days and still have a stunning tank 😊
Am I correct in saying that you didn't remove your fish? So you sprayed the solution with the spray bottle under the water. I apologise if it sounds stupid but I have only been in the hobby 12months. I have not seen a flat worm so now I will be researching what to look for. Thanks for the information🐟🐠🦀
@@firsttimereefertv1588 I know - it's brilliant mate ;) I actually have a bottle of the AEFW stuff from the Vibrant guy just in case (I wish I had got the coral dip too - as it apparently is the best) - I also use the KZ Flatworm Stop (but that's more about acro health than flatworms). But if I do ever get them I will definitely try this... don't know what I would do if I have deepwater acros on the bottom.
@@firsttimereefertv1588 did he mean 2g in 1 liter or 2kg like the reefer in China? Any particular source for the potassium chloride I should use? Thank you
Has anybody contacted Bill Morgans to see if this really worked for the long term? It has been over a year now since this video. Did the worms eventually come back?
That setup is premium
It sure is! Im covering his tank in an upcoming interview!
thanks for sharing!! you have the potential to have saved millions of dollars of coral for those who watch this!! thanks!
HOMEGROWN REEFER thank YOU for watching! Hope this gets shared as far as possible so it helps as many people as possible!
Wowser, great job Mr Bill Morgan 👊
Cant wait to unlock his knowledge! Im legit so excited!
Very cool to hear a totally new method to treat AEFW. Now, if only there's a solution for severe infestation of Vermetid snails!
I too am still looking for that treatment 😪 I HATE vermatid snails with a passion
Great work Bill as always, interested in your fish and coral QT protocol seeing you have a powder blue tang.
Great question! Ill make sure i cover it in our upcoming interview 😊

Had the tank been aefw free since the potassium treatment? Love to hear about a update. I'm about to treat with this method in a couple of days.

What about the aefw encased eggs? I can't imagine this penetrates them.
It wouldnt but thats why Bill mentions to treat again to get the new hatches!
Please make the brown jelly cure video you talked about !
Any other videos of Bill's tank? Also there is a new product on the market called AEFW-X for killing flatworms

Michelle Conabere Bill removes majority of his water and uses a spray bottle to spray the acro.

Thanks mate and me too! But if we do atleast we can refer to this!
