Talking about flat worm, I was lucky to cut open a rock in my reef looking for a gorilla crab and found a leopard polyclad flatworm, it was massive and I have never seen one before. Just shows you what’s living in our aquariums that we don’t realise are living in the reef.
The trouble is there is no reef safe in-tank treatment that works. You cant break down and dip a large established reef tank where all the corals are encrusted.
yea, i know some people that have been through hell to eliminate flat worms... ie. breaking down their large stablished tanks and diping every coral multiple times over weeks... not fun and obviously very disruptive to the tank!

i found a bunch of flatworms on a few corals, bought a 6 line wrasse and i havent seen a flatworm since.
