While she isn't a must summon she is one of the best boss killers in the game. She can't hit as hard as super Orion, or stall memes like morgan, but she's very good at shutting bosses down while beating the shit put of them. Also while high end supports are best, she isn't useless without them. Anderson with a friend support merlin is amazing
Love her so much, and she is the crown Jewel in my Chaldea. I actually want to get her to Np5... but I need to get at least one copy of Mushashi. I feel really bad for my girlfriend though. Every time Jalter has showed up, she has tried so hard to get her and not get her. I'm really hoping she gets her in a couple days or the second run around. Cause she wants her so bad.
Also one thing to consider, this is Jalter last rate up from the foreseeable future(Unless Lasengle snuck in banner like the LB 5,2 second banner). She hasnt has any rate up since then outside of the GSSR

Still saving for Castoria. Used my ticket to get Tamamo, to go with my Waver. Have tried for 3 years to get Jalter, so I’m struggling whether to throw, at least a few, tickets just to see what happens.
I felt similar when it was Musashi on rate up. I ended up throwing 10 tickets at it just on principle and she finally came home! I don't know what your quartz savings look like, but if you have 10 ticket to spare it never hurts to toss a little bit at a favorite servant. Good luck whether or not you decide to summon.

If you've wanted her for a long time, this is the last time to get her for the foreseeable future. It really depends on your savings. I entered with a little over 500 sq and left with Jalter and 360 sq. There's a lot of quartz still to be had between now and Castoria as well. I say set a hard limit and I mean a HARD limit and go for it.
The question of Jalter being a must summon is a rather...... _loaded_ one , whose answer hinges on four things (besidse 'is she your waifu?'). Namely: 1) Do you have Merlin, a fully invested Hans, and/or some amount of 2030 CEs? Alternatively, do you have a Summer BB? 2) Do you have the likes of Ajurna Alter, Qin Shin Huang, Super Orion, or virtually any Quick DPS with a native Skadi (like, say for contrast's sake, Lobos)? Alternatively, are you planning to role for Morgan? 3) Do you have the likes of Summer Jeanne, Astrea, or Saber Lancelot, and are planning to summon for Castoria? 4) Do you plan on summoning for Douman, Gogh, and/or Koyanskaya Light in the future? If you say no to the first or forth points, then don't summon Jalter. She NEEDS OP or niche Supports to truly make her shine and shore up her deficiencies, particularly in the Star Gen department since even with her S1 her Avenger Star Weight will be fighting against her at all opportunities to allow her Support to grab the Stars instead. Merlin is the classical partner in crime to any Jalter, so the thought of running a comp without him by her side is just painful to think about. It _can_ be down if your willing to pay the price, wait awhile, or have the resources, but it's a tall ask for none-the-less to better justify rolling for one Servant. For the second point, those fellows mentioned just outshine Jalter in the role of 'Crit Meme' , so getting her if you have any/all of the above leads to introducing redudency into your line-up and can result in never using her over your already invested in options. Skadi Comps in particular, while '3-turn or burn out painfully' in style, can output insane amounts of Damage between their DPS's Crits and back to back NPs fueling said Crits/future NPs, while Jalter is fall more reliant on her supports for Star Gen and NP generation. She _does_ have a couple of distinctions to her to make her a prime pick even in regards to her competition, however: A ST NP that does stonking Damage and applies Buff Block for a turn, and the fact she's has the highest ATK Stat of ANY Servant in the game as an *Avenger* . Have a Damagings ST NP, even at NP1, can be invaluable to suppliment Crit Damage or in place of it (IE: You don't draw her cards in a timely manner), while QSH and S.Orion live or die by RNG . Ajurna Alter and Morgan present stiffer competition, as even with AoE NPs they deal hecking damage and have all the benefits of being Zerks, so Jalter is standing on much shakier ground if she's not Foued and NP out the wazoo. For the third point.....well, Arts Crit Memes enable by Castoria, nuff said. Even if they don't do nearly as much damage as Buster Crits, Arts Crits easily fuel NP loopage that makes RNG FAR less of a pain in the DPS department, and Castoria is such an awesome support for her Card Type that she makes _every_ Arts Servant a right BEAST that stands tall among their peers. So, all things told, Jalter is a worthwhile summon.....if you don't have her more competitive options and have/plan to have the MEGA BUSTED Supports that can make her live up to her status as 'The OG Crit Meme' . Otherwise, she can feel a bit behind the times and playing second fiddle to the Servants that since have integrated on her kit to lethal perfection. She's geniunely a great Servant, but in a niche as super saturated as hers she can be a hard sell unless you fully intend to commit to her and only her.
I use a combination of chiron with fragment of 2030 any support like waver or merlin and my sub servants like mash and nightingale archer will have 20 star star bomb ces And I can pretty much win any fight unless their are any weird gimmicks
I summoned Jalter in April... now she has her buster partner Himiko. Both of them lvl100 10/10/10. They're obliterating everything. Jalter plus double Himiko is nuts.
Well…..this was quite an unexpected surprise…… I somehow ended up with an NP5 Jalter at the cost of 150+ summons worth of SQ. My very first NP5 5-star servant. I spent 200 SQ last year to get the first copy. Fast forward to last week on the morning of her 1st banner rotation I woke up to getting 2 copies on the 1st 10 pull. (Then I got greedy and spent 240$ for the first time trying to get Musashi and failed on the following Tuesday). Fast forward to last night, after grinding as many Interludes and Rank Up quests as I can, it took me the 90 SQ I grinded up to get the 4th Jalter, bought one more 80$ pack and ended with the 5th copy on the first 10 pull.
Just NP5'ed her. My FGO dream is finally complete. Got 2 Jalter and a Mordred within 180 SQ. Had her at NP3 after some miracelous single tickets during the mystery event. Now I am complete. Gonna see if Mao Nobu will be NP5 as well, as I got her to NP4 last year thanks to godly rolls. Lvl 100 2k/2k NP5 Jalter. Gonna stay complete until next year when I have to get her to lvl 120 and get 2 of her app. skills up. Don't wanna go NP6 as I suspect we will get some means of bridging the gap. And I might get her again from GSSRs.

NP3 Best Girl LFG 🤩🥳 Tbh I'd love to see her giving herself the Dragon trait on a skill so she can double atk up herself, that seems like a good buff imho I also like the idea of giving her Buster up for 3 times, 3 turns, that way you can easily capitalise on the 30 stars dropped by her NP with her last buff
It's terms of raw damage, Jalter remains unmatched. The highest atk in the game to this day, an attack buff, buster buff and crit buff combine to make a jalter buster brave chain with crits godly. But in a world of break bars, NP looping, 50% NP charges, 3 turn buster buff and massive NP damage mods Jalter finds it hard to compete. I still have her 10/10/10, max foo'd and grailled to 100. she remains my first and main waifu and still works with double merlin or waver merlin.
Was waiting for this before I rolled but got impatient and rolled as soon as the banner rolled over. Luck pulled through and got her at NP3! BUSTER WAIFU QUEEN IS ETERNAL ❤️🔥
When i sterted FGO i kept rolling for Hercuales her banner was out at the time and what do u know I rerolled a herc and got a copy of jalter after I did the multi after clearing fuuyuki. Now I'm stuck not able to fully lvl her but almost got her to bond lvl 10.

Ive been saving for Castoria and have 300sq but I tried to get jalter for the longest time and she hasn’t come back in JP yet I might use all my quartz on Jalter even though Castoria would be my first support and would almost finish my saber face collection.
For this banner, I decided I'd throw 3 tickets at each one I want and no more (gotta save quartz for the bigger banners). Didn't get Jalter, but I did get Tamamocat. For some reason I keep getting unrelated Berserkers on Banners, like how during the Caenis banner I got Beowulf.
For being the angriest class, Berserkers are surprisingly loving and will swarm an unsuspecting Master's Chaldea in search of Embers to eat and people to protect.

Still, I don't regret giving those two grails, especially not for my precious fluffy boi.

I’m pretty sure Jalter was a year 2 servant. Also, her first skill came from Nursery Rhyme. DW essentially combined all the experiences they garnered from year 1 and created a super waifu.
Finally got my jalter to np2 but she took 30 summon tickets, 354 sq got her on on my last single roll but it's worth it I pretty much max her out all I need level her np more welp back back to saving up
I like Jalter, but she'll come back soon enough in a rate-up. Musashi has not. As such, my priority is maxing out the wacky woo-hoo udon lady as much as I can before she's stuck in the GSSR.
Hate to break it to you, but just like Musashi this is to date Jalter's last rate up. Both of course will eventually come again, and thanksgiving is always a wild card, but with that said if you want her its either this 2nd rotation or gssr

So that's a known amount of $ for a 10-20% chance of getting who you're aiming for, and a 100% chance of getting at least 1 SSR. Compared to fishing on a banner which is the generic improved pull rate, no guarantee that you'll pull anybody with the amount of SQ/money you have, and still a chance you'll be spooked by a random SSR and give up before you get who you want. Like what happened. Guaranteed is basically only a bad deal if you absolutely refuse to spend money on gacha, and then yeah, more than fair enough it's a terrible deal in that case. Or I suppose if the guaranteed banner is full of servants you already have/have multiple NP levels for, then the metric gets harder, but still not bad per se.

Didn't get Jalter, but I did get Tamamocat. For some reason I keep getting unrelated Berserkers on Banners, like how during the Caenis banner I got Beowulf.
For being the angriest class, Berserkers are surprisingly loving and will swarm an unsuspecting Master's Chaldea in search of Embers to eat and people to protect.
@@jedimike7622 You're telling me. I got Vlad, Summer Nobu, Penth, Ibaraki, Beowulf, Cat, and Heracles all sitting around my Chaldea, as well as a Grailed Asterios and Kiyohime and the welfare Jeanne and Chacha as well.
...come to think of it, I think my Asterios and Kiyohime might be acting as catalysts to encourage more and more Berzerkers to keep coming. Still, I don't regret giving those two grails, especially not for my precious fluffy boi.

She was my Servant from the tutorial summon, and when I made a new account just to reroll a bunch and see who I got, she kept coming back. Since then, she's been joined by Nyalter, Chacha, Summer Nobu, Jaltzerker, Herc, Sith-chan, Ibaraki, Summer Sushi, Penth, Beowulf, and my personal favorite, Fran.

Spent 150 SQ trying to MLB First Sunrise and got her. I actually needed a single target Avenger, so now I got one. Also, spent 30 more after that and got the MLB and a Ganesha spook. Good day for me.
She's a must summon but, as I have found out, she's not a must arrive 😥

Finally got my jalter to np2 but she took 30 summon tickets, 354 sq got her on on my last single roll but it's worth it I pretty much max her out all I need level her np more welp back back to saving up
Same bro, I had 330 quartz and like 2 tickets, and she came on the 2nd to last multi along with tamamo, so I’m very happy with that
I like Jalter, but she'll come back soon enough in a rate-up. Musashi has not. As such, my priority is maxing out the wacky woo-hoo udon lady as much as I can before she's stuck in the GSSR.
Hate to break it to you, but just like Musashi this is to date Jalter's last rate up. Both of course will eventually come again, and thanksgiving is always a wild card, but with that said if you want her its either this 2nd rotation or gssr

I got her with 500 quartz along with 60 quartz and I gotta say my hardwork on grinding quartz on Free quest to first Singularity up to Lostbelt 5 Olympus was all worth it got my fave Waifu ✌️🤣🔥💖

@@neves783001 nah guaranteed banners are worse to try to get an specific servant. I tried last time and got Nobu, thou not bad at all, not the aimed one.

So that's a known amount of $ for a 10-20% chance of getting who you're aiming for, and a 100% chance of getting at least 1 SSR.
Compared to fishing on a banner which is the generic improved pull rate, no guarantee that you'll pull anybody with the amount of SQ/money you have, and still a chance you'll be spooked by a random SSR and give up before you get who you want. Like what happened.
Guaranteed is basically only a bad deal if you absolutely refuse to spend money on gacha, and then yeah, more than fair enough it's a terrible deal in that case.
Or I suppose if the guaranteed banner is full of servants you already have/have multiple NP levels for, then the metric gets harder, but still not bad per se.
