I was definitely meant to see this.
Charging what my time is worth was such a hard thing for me to learn. I run a bakery and my first instinct was to charge less, because who would ever pay $5 for a brownie? I wouldn't. But then, I could just go home and make a batch. I was so terrified that no one would pay my prices and I'd fail, but I took the risk and charged what was required to make a decent profit. Some days I don't sell as much, but most days, I sell out. I assigned value to my products and the customers saw it. But that was, and some days still is, a hard lesson to take in.
wow, amazing! very inspired and totally related to what you just shared. It also took me a while to overcome that imposter syndrome, but as you mention, it will not only make a difference in our income and profit, but especially in our self confidence as well. Very happy for you :)

I've been dealing with Imposter Syndrome my entire life due to taking my own path in life. I can confirm that the advice in this video absolutely works! That's exactly how I dealt with it: waking up every morning and running the business as if it's my corporate job. You'll get a very good workflow going.

Sadly, the school system in the US fosters fear of failure. IF you don't do well on tests and things like that, you don't pass. This goes on to life. If we are not used to excelling, we just kinda go along to get along, not really reaching for a lot more because we don't want to fail, but not messing up too much on our jobs because we don't want to get fired.
That's a fact. Many kids never reach their potential because they are scared of failing

Everyday, no matter what we do, we find ourselves in situations where our mind starts to takes control, and if we don't manage it in a way that favors us, it may leave us depleted and completely disarmed.
