One thing I learned is that you have to humble yourself when need be too, unfortunately, they will try to play on your confidence and dare you to challenge them knowing it's a trap.
This video must be shown even for pre-teens. I've noticed that most youngsters at the moment are lacking of confidence, probably the lockdown somehow affected them.
Imo I think this vid stated the obvious an awful lot, but I mean that in a polite way, and I'm not going to lie; I have been getting played for years...but it's no one else's responsibility except for me to do something about it. The thing of it is though, I have tried to resolve personal issues I have had with certain individuals in peaceful ways...but I'm really starting to wonder if it's just better to be ignored rather than demand respect or wanting to be liked or wondering if you 'are' going to be liked. I definitely agree that boundaries matter because in times like this, it seems to be getting more difficult to find out who you really should be associating with...but in all reality like this vid pointed out; self awareness and personal instincts are definitely key. And there is no doubt either that everything described in this vid not only concerns what we all can do to understand ourselves more deeply, but others as well. All of what was described makes sense and what not - but we also have to realize nothing is ever guaranteed or a total certainty...except for taxes and death. When push comes to shove, we all should try to be able to get along...however it is wayyy easier said than done. Past traumas are a big factor as well...but at this point, I feel like I'm stating the obvious myself. All that really matters is that we need to learn how to be happy with ourselves before we can satisfy the needs of others and that is something that hit home for me on such an emotional level. Anyways, let there be peace on earth 🌎 and definitely value yourself near and to the dear! Just as the vid described.

My job is too get me to my next level, goals. I play pool to help my skill level, goals. If it's not going to help me in anyway then it's not important. I am older and can't waste time. I want to be at a different place in the future.
