      Each sprint has its own goal(issues and bugs that are to be resolved by the time that sprint ends) which is set at the start of the sprint. If a new bug comes up, unless it's critical, it's registered in the system and will be scheduled to be fixed in a future sprint.

      Dental bills are always extremely high.
      In the UK dentists are usually gazillionaires and tend to retire early, while regular doctors even at the top of their game are practically paupers in comparison.

    • @jerrygreenest
      @jerrygreenest 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absence of tests and reviews, fixes pushed directly to production. And bad management so different people fix the same bug, yes. That’s the essence of workflow in a shitty company.

    • @mxbx307
      @mxbx307 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, it's dumb. You assign the bug to a developer and you also ensure there is regression testing, code review and whatnot before checkin. Then the finished code is deployed to production and usually by another team, unless you're using modern DevOps.
      Or you could just screw all of that and code directly on your production box. Worth a go.

    I actually have fun working in SQL databases. Oracle ones are a hoot. What I really hate is the number of frameworks other things require just to get the damn thing to build in Java if your doing something outside of vanilla Java.
