The expandable storage via SD card was a major reason I held onto my Note 20 Ultra for so long. The trade-in deal was ultimately what convinced me to upgrade to the S24 Ultra. While I miss the SD card slot, the generous trade-in value, the knowledge that security patches for the Note 20 Ultra would end soon, and the allure of a larger, fresh battery all factored into my decision. If any of these factors hadn't been present, I likely would have stuck with my trusty Note 20 Ultra. The upgraded 512GB of storage soften the blow and finally pushed me to upgrade.
I prefer the note 20 but damn why the heck did they have to take away the SD card support. I don't care about 120 hrz I always put it to 60 hrz and put all my phones to 1080p to save battery
@@cobaltblue5523 Actually setting the resolution to 1080p on a phone with a QHD screen saves zero battery, and sometimes it actually gets worse. The S20 FE is also significantly cheaper than the Note20.
Just be careful about letting it sit in a drawer too long. A lot of people have been having the issue of batteries swelling up. I still have the S8+ and it has no issue since I still use it daily and a secondary phone to just watch youtube.
@@tklee1581 When I traded in my Note 20U, I didn't have any issues either. I would have appreciated a longer battery life. The only thing that I wasn't looking forward to was the end of security patches next year. The only reason I traded in my Note was the good trade in offer, enhanced trade in value, seven years of software support, new battery, and the upgrade to 512GB storage. I ended up paying $599 for the s24 Ultra or $726 with taxes. I couldn't pass up on the deal. If any of those factors were missing I would have kept my Note. I would pick up another Note 20 Ultra if it ever drops down to $200 or less in the future.
Just scored a pitaka case for my note. I gonna keep the 20 because I can tap to pay at Winco, home depot, when the employees tell me it won't work and the shocked look on there face when it does. Won't work at Walmart tho.
@@arctictruck10 Walmart still pays transaction fees when they accept other credit cards. Maybe they pay less when people use their own branded Walmart credit card. I don't know if the fee actually increase when there is another middle man like Apple pay or Samsung pay.
I have the s 10 and i want to get a note 20 just for the spen i feel like its the perfect size . How would you compare the camera and battery life to tue s10 and note 20

Personally I've had nothing but trouble with the camera on my galaxy note 20 ultra in fact it's that bad it's the worse camera I've had on any phone, considering what I paid for it I won't be buying anything Samsung again 😡.

Note 20 Ultra: The Best Looking Phone EVER MADE!
Hi Matthew,
Would you consider reviewing the Moto Edge Plus 2022 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1)? There are some great deals available on this device.
will buy one for you guys
Love the whole s20 line up but I upgraded every year since 2020 Now s24ultra 😊 great memories matt,Where can I get that Gameboy wallpaper ?
Also, the regular Note20 does not have SD card support. Just avoid the regular Note20. In my opinion, the S20 FE is better, full stop.

Still great back up devices to this day. My note 20 ultra still runs smooth. Thanks again @MatthewsTech💪🏾

@@peterparker2068 Thanks I still have no issues with screen, battery or performance.

I love the squared Note edges but they cost way more than the S equivalent 😢

I don't know why it won't work at Walmart. I tried it there too.
@peterparker2068 because Walmart doesn't want to pay transaction fees
