Rewatching this with you made me realize a huge hole in the "I can't contact Cat Noir because I don't know who he is" thing. She knows that Tikki knows his real identity; why not just send Tikki off to find him when he's needed. Marinette could just hide or something while she waits for Tikki to come back. Yeah, maybe a bit risky if Shadowboth captures the kwami, but surely in an emergency it would be worth it.
it would be risky because Shadowmoth could have the opprotunity to capture Tiki like in the episdoe where the miraculous kwami's tried to contact nooroo on his birthday of sorts tiki and Plag both went to help and Shadowmoth then hawkmoth almost captured Plag while he was making his way there... with the sleep villan who made parisian's nightmares come to life

Didn't she send kalki the horse to get Adrian once. The other kwamis seem to know who he is. Also, about the wish. Master fu did say that making a wish would have disastrous consequences depending on what the wish was. Given this and the end of the world aspect, what if reviving Adrien's mother causes Adrien to either be erased or put in a coma instead.
But it would take an awful lot of time for Tikki to travel and find him. Marinette may hide sure, but the villain may have caused heavy damage already.

How to describe Chat Noir and the celestial guardian this entire season so far.
One thing I noticed was that Marinette took the time to get to know him as Cat Noir more and learned to fall in love him as Cat Noir whereas Adrien just instantly fell in love with her after knowing she was Ladybug.
Yeah it felt lazy in writing & he should have had a different reaction cause if LB was treating him like trash. Knowing that it's Marinette. It should have made him give time to think about it
@@littlesparrow303 Adrien doesn't think Ladybug is treating him like trash, because outside of the miscommunication issues, he still loves her. He just doesn't understand some of her decisions but he is far from hating her. He just feels like she might not need him anymore because she's utilizing other heroes. Glaciator.2 was only because he messed up with the whole couple of the year thing.

I don't always believe in the senti-monster Adrien theory but the way Gabriel was speaking and mucking about with his ring slightly helps with it.
If you think about it for a second, the Peacock and Butterfly Miraculous have similar concepts. With the butterfly miraculous he had to akumatize himself a powerup to release more than one, so I figure that it whould be the same with the peacock.
I think Luka received the message from Ladybug. She basically gave away her identity, but she thinks Luka won't remember what happened if Sass uses Second Chance. That would've been the case but Luka knows their identities either way because of Wishmaker.
i figured she sent the message from her civilian phone number
her bug-phone is connected to her actual phone. i don't remember which episode it was, but during a fight she hid so she could call Alya and say she couldn't make it to whatever they had planned, and Alya thought it was Marinette, so the bug-phone has to be connected to her SIM
if she sent it from whatever LB's number is, without knowing that Luka knows her identity, she didn't have reason to believe he'd know where to go
if he didn't know who she was and she sent it from her LB #, he wouldn't be able to get to Sass

Yeah about that, in my opinion this episode is a disappointment, don't hate just really really don't like, it goes too fast, the logic doesn't make sense why didn't ladybug tell chat noir to reveal her identity to suhan if it was ladybug chat noir would believe it, Gabriel found out that Adrien is chat noir because he said my lady, it's too stupid the way back in time is Pretty good , but when ladybug fixes the damage with some crappy clock it's just too stupid idiot idea Ladybug slaps her chest and screams at suhan when she's the one who made the mistake, and according to some logic,And somehow suhan become the one apologizing it doesn't make sense.

22:26 Am i the only one who noticed Shadowmoth playing with his none existent ring that he normally wears as Gabriel? He also does that at the beginning of the episode as gabriel in the car when he's trying to make Adrien obey him. Adrien is a sentimonster theory and the amok is in Gabriels ring. That's why he plays with it every time he wants Adrien to obey him.
But if that's the case, he shouldn't need to twist the ring to get Adrien to obey; just being in possession of it should be sufficient.

I want a reveal that remains permanent that doesn't have any sort of consequeces for the heroes or for the city/world is that too much to ask???
the one thing about this episode I liked was how long it took Mari to realize her feelings and allow those feelings to grow for Chat Noir as equally or as close to equally as adrien... it didn't happen right away and it took until the second umbrella scene with Chat's weapon in the rain for Ladybug aka Mari to fully connect the two personalities together and see them as one person Adrien thus letting her feelings grow for both personalities and being comfortable enough to then reveal her identity to Adrien.... Also I don't like how the past guardian was just projecting his fears onto the group of superheroes and more specifically Mari I think without that projection the reveal would happen in a different way.... but at least we got a chance to see what would happen if Gabriel had the opprotunity to merge miraculouses and make his wish.. i just wish the episode was longer or at least split into two episodes like heroe's day was so there would be more time for explinations and the scenes wouldn't have felt rushed like they did...
my thoughts is that this could have happened but Luka could have already known Who LB was because of the Wishmaker Episode when both Mari and Adrien were hit with the Akuma's magic to reveal their identities because of their childhood dreams... now I think it was erased by Viperion because he went back in time enough times to give LB the information she needed to quickly defeat the Villan before he could have hit either of them so they wouldn't have revealed their identites and we are still in this timeline... so it could be thought that Viperion already knows both LB's and CN's Identities but LB doesn't know that fact so she reveals her identity for this plan the part we didn't see and it's confirmed for Viperion aka Luka so when he later gets a text message from Marinette saying "Sass is in my sewing box" it's not a secret who messaged him and he jumps into action... all because he already knew who LB was to begin with...

@@cloverlucky5977 Ladybug doesn't know that that Luka knows her identity. If she did, then why were they standing on opposite sides of a wall in that scene in the sewers? When she texted "Sass is in my sewing basket" she assumed that Luka would figure out that she's Marinette because Luka knows that Marinette is an aspiring fashion designer and therefore owns a sewing basket. (Also, although she doesn't use it as a hiding place for the miracle box until Gang of Secrets, I'm assuming it's something that she already owned, and Luka probably would've seen it when they were dating.)

One of the things that probably bugs me the most about this show, is how they act as if they don't have private lives. Marinette acts most of the time as if she's the only one with a private life.

Also Luka is 1 of the 2 hero that Adrien DOES know the secret identity of without being told. As Adrien he recommended Luka for the position after Adrien failed so many times. So unless car noir is acting (unlikely) is seems like the animators forgot that Adrien is supposed to know.

Adrien knows Luka is Viperion since he was the one who told Ladybug to give him the snake miraculous but 'Cat Noir' doesn't know that. So he had to act dumb to protect his identity. 😂
Cat Noir defeated Viperion in meracle queen and took his miraculous, so he already found out that Viperion is Luka.

29:52-30:09 about Beth’s comment about why is sass going back in time is not better than hawkmoth making a wish. Let’s actually break this down with the Hawkmoth’s Wish the whole universe is gonna be destroyed and rebuilt differently. The time line is rewritten so that Emile never got put in a coma that one event is the catalyst for the whole series. So that would mean no ladybug and cat noir all the stuff they have done would have been erased. Some examples are Nino and Alaya never becoming a couple, Fei in Shanghai still living on the streets stealing for information, The guardians still pretty much dead in feast’s belly, Alaya and marinette and in-turn Adrien and Nino never becoming friends, all the good they have done for the city and their friends gone .Most importantly the biggest effect would be the clause in the Wish. Master Fu Stated in robostus “that for every action, there is a reaction… a price to be paid”. So say Hawkmoth does his wish Emile would be back but it’s most likely Adrien would have been the price to pay. Meaning there is a good chance he would have never existing or he would be the one in the comma instead of Emile. Now with sass going back the majority of the time line stays the same with not much being lost except for maybe a week of time. So the Sass option is really the only the only non damaging option they had and is way better than Hawkmoth making a wish
You are so right because the cat and the ladybug balance the world and when you make a wish of bringing someone back from the death, someone will die to take their place so in this Gabriel make the wish so it’s Adrien that will die. I’m really annoyed that they want Hackmoth to win cuz it will have terrible consequences

I don’t really think Gabriel would just automatically just go evil when finding out Adrien’s secret identity. Be a tad more psychological manipulating without really using an akuma. Showing his compassion in showing Adrian that he did everything for his family. And that makes Adrien believe he’s willingly betraying Marinette for what he believes is the right thing. Maybe even try to to convince her and it leads to a lovers to enemies dynamic.
I'd really love to see a multi episode arc about Gabriel slowly manipulating Adrien into helping him!

It does seem odd that in Glaciator 2 he didn't even consider akumatizing Adrien, but in both Cat Blanc and Ephemeral he didn't give it a second thought when he found out that Adrien was Cat Noir. It's like finding out that Adrien is Cat Noir makes him no longer think of Adrien as his son but instead as just another tool to get his wife back.
My thought is maybe over time, Gabriel has gotten more and more desperate for the miraculous. If he can keep Adrien out of it, he will, but the second he realizes he’s Chat Noir, he also realizes he will have to confront his son in order to get the ring so he can have his wish. In Gorizilla, it’s very obvious that he cares for Adrien, and even gives up the chance to get Ladybug’s earrings so he can save his son.

About Marinette sending Luka the message as Ladybug, Thomas said that Ladybug thought Luka would be able to decipher what she meant since he's Luka. So yeah she did give up her identity.
But she asked for Sass and she shold know what his powers are and that the timeline where Luka knows her identity will be deleted. It was master move from her.
About the Wish from the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous: Master Fu said that a price would be paid as an exchange for the wish to come true. Usually an equal exchange. If Miraculous goes in an Marvel way of Timetraveling or timeline corruption then somebody else will die in the Agreste Family instead of Emilie. In that regard it could be mostly Adrien or Gabriel himself who dies. It would always lead to the birth of an Shadow Moth, a Ladybug and a Cat Hero.
So I feel like it was the right decision to reset with Sass because otherwise it will happen again but in an different timeline

My question. Does Adrien even know about the wish power of the 2 miraculous?
I say this because he has been locked out of the loop on a lot of key things and I remember that Marrinette had to directly ask Fu after ?hack-san? about the wish.
So so if Adrien is completely unaware of that power, would he be more willing to surrender his ring or less?

And yet somehow even though Gabriel has "seen" Cat Noir and Adrian together he immediately jumps to the conclusion that Adrien is Cat Noir because he used a term of endearment that although not common isn't rare either. I hate when a moment of bad writing ruins an otherwise great episode.
Double check if I'm wrong, but I believe Adrien was with Ladybug when she originally gave Luka the miraculous after Adriens' failure with it.
Also the ending shows that the writers wrote themselves into a corner and had no idea how to finish the episode.
I will say I do appreciate that Marinette had to come to terms with Adrien being Cat Noir and not just accepting it. Still want to see Ladybug be a little more accepting of Cat Noir though.
You should consider doing a cold watch sometime in the future. One of the best reactions that occurred was when Momo hadn't seen the episode ahead of time.

You're 100% correct, Marinette is sacrificing her identity to save the world and send Luca to Sass. It's quite noble, actually. On a side note, making a wish seems to be genuinely traumatic... to the KWAMIs! Humans probably wouldn't notice anything at all. There was a weird old theory that the universe is destroyed and rebuilt every single second, anyhow. Do Simpleman!

Someone made a comment saying that Chat Noir has been under so many Akuma spells that Chat could have revealed his own identity to Hawkmoth by now, yet that didn't happen. I thought that comment was funny. Miraculous logic for you.
she could have been worried that if she was ever acumatized.... but one time I could remember where chat was acuamtized was Chat Blanc and that was oustide circumstances because Nathilie told Gabriel right away who Chat was because it was revealed when Mari was about to get acumatized right in front of her so they used that knowledge to thier advantage but our Mari as Ladybug helped erase that timeline so the events never happened and thus to my knowlege beyond being affected by an Akuma (Kevin's Akuma when they first kised) Chat has never permanently been Akumatized by Gabriel...
It’s also funny because there’s been plenty of situations where either Marinette or Adrien have been upset enough that Hawk Moth would have probably sensed it, but didn’t send an akuma that specific time. Gosh, this show makes me angry sometimes
Hawk Moth has all the pieces he needs in order to get his wish, and has had numerous occasions he could have acquired the black cat ring or figured out Chat Noir’s identity. If I were Hawk Moth, I’d get Chat Noir under my control with an akuma’s power then order him to detransform and hand the ring over to the akuma so they can bring it back to his lair. Then do the same with all the other miraculous holders so there’s no allies Ladybug can call on for help. Since Hawk Moth doesn’t know that any of them know Ladybug’s true identity, I don’t think he’d think of asking the other miraculous holders. Plan from there is to demand Ladybug’s earrings, and tell her she can end this and free all the other miraculous holders if she’d just comply. There have been a few situations where Ladybug has gotten herself out of a bad spot on her own, using the other miraculous she can pull out from her yo-yo, so I’d see if I can get that separated from her, or make it not work. If Ladybug can’t get any of the other miraculous or use her lucky charm, or more importantly, purify the akuma, the game is up for her. It’s really about the lucky charm and the akuma purification, which both require her yo-yo to be in working condition. So if I could make it not function before she uses her lucky charm, game over Marinette.
Marinette knows that Luka knows both their identities because of wishmaker. He swore he would never tell and has kept his promise. She just sort of chooses to ignore that Luka actually knows who she is or really isn't thinking about it much because he isn't Cat Noir.
But Luka lied to Ladybug at the end and said he never found out! maybe Ladybug knew he was lying...? D:
@@86thfloor2 It's not Adrien or Cat Noir and she is in the midst of the two miraculous' being used by whatever Gabrielle calls himself as the cat holder. She is going to lose the love of her life and her world. I think she knows Luka lied at the end of the episode, and she is pretending like it didn't happen. Just like this will be erased and never happened either or she is hoping it will be erased. Otherwise I don't think Marinette would have asked Luka that question about identities. So even if she thinks he doesn't know, deep down her subconscious knows. Also gloob released the Kuro Neko episode.

Can I just share my theory?
So we know that in Cat Blanc, Adrien/Cat Noir was the one who found out Marinette/Ladybug's identity first. And in this episode, Marinette/Ladybug's found out Adrien/Cat Noir's identity first. So that makes me think if Ladybug and Cat Noir reveal their secret identities at the same time, neither of them will get akumatized or both of them will get akumatized.

So we are not talking about how twice in this episode Adrien instantly obeyed Gabriel after he played with his ring? It was not subtle this time. Also the deleted timeline where Ladybug knew Chat's identity was months long to make it 100 weeks in total. Adrien is full human even if he is senticreated. He is just vulnerable to the ring and owner on Peacock miraculous.
We didn't notice the ring thing until editing this video! We have a short episode coming up where we talk about it tho 👀
In Robostus, Master Fu tells Marinette that if a wish was granted a price would have to be paid to keep the universe in balance and Ladybug makes reference to that when talking to Hawk Moth in Heroes' Day. (I've always felt then that the price to be paid to bring back Emilie would be that Adrien would take her place.)
Honestly, I think that Gabriel values himself much higher than he values his son. It's probably more likely to be his own life that would become the price to bring her back.
But yeah... Whichever way it could go, the Robustus episode did give us viewers the impression that it would have to be something along these lines for Gabriel's wish. The episode established that the magic of the wish will demand a trade. Sacrifice one to save another.

Doesn't luka already know her identity from wishmaker so his reaction is genuine but you've got a point she outted herself but I suppose it was a "viperion will erase this there will be no consequences" moment
If there's one thing I appreciate about this episode, it's that Marinette can - and will - reconcile her image of Adrien with her image of Cat Noir; it did shake her up at first, which I think is fair, but ultimately she came around on it. Then in S5, besides outright falling for Cat Noir in the first batch of episodes, she's also seen glimpses of that side of Adrien too - even as early as Risk, honestly
Also, Adrien did know Luka was Viperion, considering he stole the Miraculous from him in Miracle Queen; he was also the one who recommended Ladybug give it to Luka heh

Objection! Cat Noir does actually know. He had to act surprised to make sure he didn't act sus. Remember in Desparada? Adrien chose Luka as the snake miraculous holder!
But in Miracle Queen Dragon Bug removed Viperion's miraculous right in front of Cat Noir which caused him to detransform.

Just like Blance Chat I felt like it should’ve been a two part episode. Both felt a bit rushed and time travel is really undermining any consequences for the heroes. Speaking of consequences, Master Fu Really undermined on what would happen if someone used the ladybug and black cat miraculous. In the Robustus episode he basically said it be an equivalent exchange. If Markov wanted to be human some random person would die in order for the wish to be granted. He didn’t say the entire world/universe would be rewritten as well
I have to wonder about that "oh no, not again!" reaction from all the Kwamis in this episode when they saw what was happening. Makes it sound like they all retain some sort of awareness of things through a universal rewrite, and that it's definitely happened at least once before. So what's the context of the previous rewrite(s) then? What sort of things happened on the timeline that existed originally, and how much was erased from that timeline to set the stage for the current timeline in its place?

From what i got this episode have the same massage as Chat Blanc Gabriel/ Hawkmoth is the reason Chat Noir and Ladybug can't reveal their identities. both episode showed that until Gabriel found out his son is Chat Noir everything was fine, (minus Adrian not actually liking Marinette but Ladybug) it kinda showed what it would be in her perspective if she found out first. until they can defeat Hawkmoth they can reveal who they are but that doesn't mean a new Hawkmoth have the same effect maybe they would know their identities but there wouldn't be a problem in the future.
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Ok, the combination of the LB and CN miraculous grants the wish by destroying the universe and remaking it again! That is just messed up. They need to take the miracle box and trow it in mount Doom. the whole this is just cursed. Also, Why didn't Bunix appear from the future if they are going to get all time traveling. This was such an emotional roller-coaster. But it was a great 100th episode & great react video. Thanks for all the work you do making these. Love and Peace to you all.
