I bought the 16L Oregon version of this and it’s great. You get better washers from B&Q, Screwfix than the ones supplied. Prone to leaks. Once I done that it’s been a dream

Whenever I use it the theme song to the movie Ghostbusters pops into my head. Doesn’t matter if I’m spraying my lawn or my rose bushes with it. I just start singing 🤷🏻♂️ 🎶 If there’s something strange In the neighbourhood Who you gonna call GHOSTBUSTERS!! 🎶 My wife and my neighbours think I’m going crazy. I think I’m going crazy. Any tips on how I can get rid of that tune from my head whenever I use the Oregon sprayer would be greatly appreciated. Desperate man here seeks help 😂😂

Is there a good liquid fertilizer that could be put down with the sprayer other than the seaweed or would you recommend the granular like you'll be using? Looking for something that will be absorbed quickly as we have pets using the lawn throughout the day.
Hi there are plenty around. Even as do their ow liquid feed but you'll need to apply it more regularly than granular. Believe it or not I've never applied liquid feeds ever. Although I have considered it
@@LawnRight Cheers much appreciated. Yeah that makes sense, have enquired about a few granulars and although the suppliers say it's safe for pets once it's dissolved, we can't really keep the pets off the lawn for long periods of time.
I have been using the very light plumbers Teflon tape on sprayer threads and dielectric grease on o-rings. The two together lets you tighten things up fully, some grippy gloves help also. A drop or two of oil on the pump piston washer and your ready for years fun...!
@@LawnRight I have never had luck with that pear shaped plastic bit that is supposed to secure the pump handle when not in use, I need up cable tying it on.

HI mark thanks! I use Camtasia for my video editing, as well as camtasia assets. The overlays are called nick nimmins.. just look for those on camtasia assets cheers
Hi Shaun, just picked up one of these at the weekend (too windy yesterday, so hoping for the maiden voyage today). Do you know if replaceable nozzles are available as it doesn't look like I can fit any other type as a replacement.
Hi at the minute it's not available.. although it's looking likely they will be made available. As soon as I've heard back from him I'll pass out the details . I used it again on Saturday and it blew me away how good it was with grass seed
Hi mate, great vid as usual. You said you can use the weedol and seaweed spray together, what ratio would you use of each in that nap sack. Will save me loads of time if thats how you do it. I have a 20 or 5lt spayers. Many thanks Chris
Hi Chris, I've not tried weedol with seaweed yet but have used seaweed and weedkiller together for years at usual rates. It usually doesn't stop the action of killing most weeds but if you find some difficult weeds aren't going then reduce or remove the seaweed. It's usually ok in most cased
Decent video, but I cant believe you're using toxic chemicals when you have a dog. Vinegar with 10% acetic acid & salt will do the same thing without the detriment to ones health
Morning. Genuinely I love animals. In all the years I've done this I make sure that pets are kept off for 2 hours until it's dry and never had a single issue. Not one. Grazing animals like rabbits and guinea pigs have to be kept off for 3 mows or they stay in one location on the lawn which isn't treated
@@LawnRight I don't doubt you love your animals. But, you need to research those chemicals and the carnage they cause to the ecosystem. These chemicals don't just disappear once they dry or after a few days. They cause devastation to the ecosystem you're spraying on and, chronically, any animal that comes into contact with them

I use three different sprayer and mark them up with a permanent marker denoting what they’re are used for so I don’t have to wash them out .

Hi chris I can confidently say any standard nozzle will fit this. Lurmark for example are one brand I use.. these are the same amzn.to/40TriuH

Did you find the loop for storing the rocker/pump arm impossible to use because of the arm being to close or the loop to long?
