"I'm waiting for the spin-off where Stewie's big enough to beat Peter's ass" If I'm honest, he could probably do that now, Peter has always been shown to be a terrible fighter against anyone that isn't a giant chicken, while Stewie can surprisingly hold his own for a baby

Another sin you overlooked about regarding Timmy's parents is that all their neglect comes from the fact that they wanted a daughter in the first place-the show made that explicitly clear multiple times. Had they had a girl instead of a boy, they would've been the best parents ever. But, nope. They got a boy, and that apparently gives them enough reason to be neglectful.
It’s their fault though they raised their expectations on having a daughter so high that they went out buying a lot of girl items instead of doing checkups or sonogram tests to see if the gender of their baby would be a girl. If they’d done that, they wouldn’t have wasted so much money on a lot of girl merch!
i wanna give an honorable mention to Henry's parents (specifically his mom) from Horrid Henry and Mindy's mom from Animaniacs. Henry is an absolute menace in the show (he's supposed to be lol) but it's mainly because his mom treats him as a scapegoat while his younger brother Peter is the golden child. I believe in one episode she even wished for Henry to disappear at a birthday party and everyone was staring at her. Also in the Buttons and Mindy's segment from Animaniacs, Mindy's mom is kind of like Timmy's parents and Henry's mom combined. She neglects Mindy and leaves her alone in the backyard so she could go out to take 'parenting classes' (I never noticed the irony of that until I rewatched the segment recently), and she uses Buttons as a scapegoat if Mindy were to escape the backyard or get kidnapped. And she always wonders why Mindy is calling her 'lady'. Same said thing could be applied to Mindy's dad, but he only appears in a few episodes so that's why I'm mostly ranting about the mom.
A lot of people don't realize that Butch Hartman worked on Cow & Chicken, and so Timmy's parents are clearly very heavily inspired by the parents from that show. Like the Turners, those parents were very goofy but also extremely neglectful & often cruel--but they were waaay more extreme, since everything in Cow & Chicken was exaggerated up to 11.

I'm gonna go upstairs and make my bed now. [waits a bit, then turns to go to his room. Liane turns around] Liane: Eric, how would you like to go with me to see Madame Butterfly Friday night? Cartman: No, that's okay. Besides, I told Stan and Kyle we could work on our science project then. Liane: Well, what if I took you to Kentucky Fried Chicken afterward? when I was a kid, I honestly thought timmy was just a spoiled kid, but as I got older I realized I was in a similar predicament, having wealthy but absent parents they would always try to buy my love and happiness which resulted in me being spoiled but still miserable, trying to distract myself with monetary values because I didn’t know anywhere else I could find that happiness. People don’t take child neglect as seriously as they should, it really fucks you up.
@@thestallioncreaturaI have never watched family guy, but it doesn’t sound too far off. It isn’t unheard of for novelists, comic or tv writers to bend over backwards trying to justify child abuse if someone points out a parent in their story is abusive.
The mom from Phineas and Ferb needs to catch the fade next, too. She was deadass neglectful and dismissive of her daughter and secretly making literally whole comedy bits based on everything Candace tells her happened when she wasn't home (which is often, yes I know she has a job n shit, but still), essentially ridiculing and making fun of her. F that B.
Actually to add onto Mr and Mrs Turner they legit made an entire presentation on why Timmy can’t come with them on vacation. Also it was confirmed they wanted a girl and they probably neglect Timmy because he’s not a girl and now what they wanted. Mr Turner also confirmed his hopes and dreams were crushed when Timmy was born, and he loved Timmy more when he wanted to destroy Dinkleberg(his neighbor who he hates).
Then again, the Turners shouldn’t have raised their expectations too high in believing their first child would be a girl. They seriously should’ve done daily doctor checkups and sonogram tests to find out what gender their baby was before going all out in buying merchandise based on their expectations for said baby’s gender.
Shows like family guy don’t understand that child abuse isn’t funny bc almost every time the joke isn’t “haha child abuse is bad”. The joke is “haha these parents r abusing their kids that don’t deserve it” I h8 it when cartoons have shit parents and portray them and their abuse/neglect as “comedy”
Eh, the entire point of family guy is crude as shit like that. It’s not meant to be taken seriously to begin with. If you want to watch a show that maturely tackles the subject of abuse in a serious manner, family guy has no business even being on the horizon. Not excusing abuse obviously.
Lets not forget Odalia Blight from The Owl House. She prevented Amity from having friends during all of her life, even to the point of getting them expeled from school and trying to kill Luz. And let's not forget she colaborated consciously with genocide.

Homer should be on there because he lowered the bar the first time he strangled Bart. The jerkass Homer era was basically making everything Ned Flanders in "Hurricane Neddy" and Frank Grimes in "Homer's Enemy" said about him a self-fulfilling prophecy.
@@Attmay Homer may not be the best father, but he does try to improve frequently. unlike the fathers shown in the video, homer is really more of a mediocre Parent and Marge is actually a very good parent.
The one episode that ruined Homer for me is the one where they find a crayon lodged in his brain. They remove it & suddenly he’s not as stupid as he was. He becomes a better parent & husband & forms a new bond with Lisa. But then his buddies don’t like the change & leave him. Instead of finding new friends, he has Moe the bartender ram a new crayon back up into his brain to dumb him back down. 10:11 Actually the reason why Cartman is so evil is completely different... you see .. In the first few seasons Cartman was your typical bratty , spoiled , ignorant kid who's also fat (which is bcoz his mom is an enabler sure) which resulted in him being constantly ridiculed and pranked and abused .. Bro was a living joke ... And eventually ( Scott Tenorman Must Die) he couldnt take it anymore and snapped ... He thought that enough was enough and that he was sick of being the butt of the joke .. And so the world suffered his wrath... episode after episode .. season after season.... Man , what a rollercoaster this show has been..
1:02 I feel like you could have covered another thing like the average mother or father has hit there child as discipline in a non illegal or bad way and that’s what was happening there. you not gonna discuss Lois slamming her daughters head on the floor with a towel on it smashing it into the floor while it was on fire?
I’d say the Rugrats’ parents are horrible parents considering they lose their babies not once, not twice, but 3 times across 3 movies. One of which is a literal newborn baby. Also if we’re talking about the show Angelica’s parents are neglectful especially her mother.
Not all of the Rugrats parents are horrible though. Some are actually confident and proven themselves to be good parents when their respective kid isn’t over at the Pickles’ household like Chaz and Betty and Howard. I feel like it’s mostly the Pickles family that have a harder time at parenting. And you’re right about Charlotte being neglectful towards her daughter with her constantly at work on her phone. I have no idea why Drew hasn’t divorced that woman and tried finding another woman that would be more willing to be a part of Angelica’s life and be a better role model for her behavior.
No, they are trying to be good parents. They're just trying too hard. The early years were a pinpoint-accurate satire of boomer parenting fads that children of boomers are still paying for to this day. The reboot is a bloated and hollow exercise in "MuH nInEtIeS kId" nostalgia-gaslighting like all the others.
And with fairly odd parents. It’s already shown because someone gets fairy god parents if their parents aren’t around a lot or they get neglected. And he has Cosmo and Wanda. That already speaks volumes
@@Attmay Yep really talking about Hill. His wife can be very vindictive and is delusion-ally arrogant. It's impressive how he has been able too overcome Cottons "parenting" and Tilly's goofiness
Im surprised nobody ever mentions Homer. Like the dude literally strangles his son. And it's seen that a lot of barts behaviour stems from his abuse. Like he actually was doing fucking great with flanders.
Vicky's parents are just as worst because instead of sending their 16 year old daughter to get help they are afraid of her and let her abuse their 9 year old daughter Tootie and unlike Timmy she doesn't have fairies
Yep, I completely agree with all the videos, especially about Liane Cartman. I was surprised that you did not mention that Liane Cartman actually sabotaged her son's reform because she couldn’t stand the fact that she didn’t have a friend and would rather spoil him and be a good mother to him. Still, everything else is spot on, and that her son Cartman is doomed because of her enabling, and she has no one to blame but herself.
What about Horrid Henry's parents? They neglect henry on a daily basis, Favor there perfect son peter, they both don't acknowledge henry or listen what he has to say, set unfair punishments towards henry, force henry to do what his brother wants to do, they condemn henry on a daily basis, they isolate him from his friends, they ignore henry and isolate him from the family on a daily basis, and they are the reason why henry acts the way he does.
Reminder that Vicky is also beating her little sister around and their parents are too scared to do anything about it. Another thing is that Timmy will the exact same thing when he's an adult in thw future as seen the episode when Timmy has magic remote.
Honestly, other parents in Fairly Oddparents might be as bad as the Turner or even worse. Timmy wasn't the only kid that Vicky babysits. Vicky's parents are definitely even worse. Not disciplining your child is one problem, but being terrified of your own daughter is another major problem. Not to mention, they know what Vicky did to her little sister and to other kids.
For one with the Stotches, Mr Stotch grounded butters one time because Mr Stotch accidentally put rice in his own coffee. Two, out of all the parents covered in the video, which one do you think earns the title of "ain't shit"?

@@AttmayYou don’t like South Park as a show?
All these kids got terrible parents. Kyle doesn't have the worst parents of the bunch, but they still suck so hard and even manipulate him at some point in the pandemic. Stan's mom is literally the only parent in South Park that is actually good like wtf
Eric's mom is a enabler,
Kyles's mom can sometimes be a psycho when upset,
His dad is a fucking troll.
Stan's dad is a retarded alcoholic,
Kenny's parents are straight up poor because they're alcoholics and on rugz,
Tweek's parents got him friggin' addicted to coffee,
And Butters' parents are straight up abusive of their parental power and mentally insane.
Also dishonorable mentions to David and Jane Reed from Arthur for constantly taking D.W's side while giving Arthur shit.
Thank Every, single. time
right, like on the episode with the airplane incident, we can plainly see Arthur get punished for hitting, which Bad parenting a side should happen, but we never so much as see The parents have a conversation with DW about respecting others' property. then, when Arthur gets hit by binky over a stupid dare, they let it alone and manipulate Arthur into thinking that it's a teachable moment, instead of calling up the school or having a talk with Binky's parents.
I think the only time I've ever seen them punish DW is when she does something to inconvenience them or to somebody else other than Arthur.
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT, and they’re always treated like they’re in the right. They even let (AND ACTUALLY WANT) their son to get bullied.
Caillou parents for not chastise him properly and Emily’s parents for not helping her take care of that big asah dog😂!!
"I'm waiting for the spin-off where Stewie's big enough to beat Peter's ass"
If I'm honest, he could probably do that now, Peter has always been shown to be a terrible fighter against anyone that isn't a giant chicken, while Stewie can surprisingly hold his own for a baby
Stevie does deserve to kill Peter, especially since he got Stewie hurt to the point where his brain was exposed. He later tried to frame Lois for it. However, Lois isn't off the hook since she was cool with admitting that she hurt her kids and still does it often.
@@Neku628 then maybe OG Stewie was right all along and Seth MacFarlane has been trying to get that energy back with every subsequent talking baby show.

Cartman literally got away of turning someone’s parents into chilli
And what makes things worse is that Scott Tenorman's dad was also Cartman's dad the entire time.
None of this would've happened if Mr and Mrs Turner are doing check ups or sonogram tests
Timmys parents always pissed me off when i was little lmao
SAME HERE!
Same here just imagine what La Muerte slaps Mr and Mrs Turner
Henry’s parents from Horrid Henry were absolutely dreadful, they’re even worse in the books
I have most of the Horrid Henry books and I absolutely agree, I hate his parents-
What if Henry's parents are getting arrested by the police and a social worker that helps Henry
In the first book (Henry’s perfect day) it’s mentioned that in public they pretend Henry isn’t their son
i wanna give an honorable mention to Henry's parents (specifically his mom) from Horrid Henry and Mindy's mom from Animaniacs.
The parents on the earlier show didn't outsource the job of parenting to a teenage tyrant.
The ryu death sound had me dead 💀
You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!
I can tell you who the best cartoon parents are: Bandit and Chilli Heeler from Bluey.

things I want to add for Cartman's mom
-drugs him with Codeine instead of dealing with his emotional problems
(Liane: No, you don't have to fly to Russia, hon.
Cartman: I do toooo!
Liane: No, it will be fine. How about I make you some hot tea with lemon and codeine?)
-relies on him for emotional support
(Liane: Oh... But I thought we were becoming friends.
Cesar: No, not really. You're just a client. Well, good luck to you. Gotta go. [turns around and walks away. Cartman shows up soon after]
Cartman: I cleared up the table, Mom. I'm gonna go upstairs and make my bed now. [waits a bit, then turns to go to his room. Liane turns around]
Liane: Eric, how would you like to go with me to see Madame Butterfly Friday night?
Cartman: No, that's okay. Besides, I told Stan and Kyle we could work on our science project then.
Liane: Well, what if I took you to Kentucky Fried Chicken afterward? [Cartman blinks, Liane genuflects] And then we'll go to Target and buy you a Mega Ranger.
Cartman: Could I... perhaps have... two Mega Rangers?
Liane: [hugs him] Yes, darling. You can have whatever you want. [A beatific smile appears on Cartman's face as foreboding music plays.])
-similar to the one above, but she ignores Cartman's boundaries, just so she can spoil him
(Cartman: I don't want powdered donut pancake surprise. All the kids at school call me fat!
Liane: You're not fat, you're big boned.
Cartman: That's what I said.
Liane: You can have an eensy weensy bit, can't you?
Cartman: No!
Liane: Just a weensy eensy woo woo?
Cartman: No, leave me alone mom! [He walks past her.]
Liane: How about a nice chocolate chicken pot pie, then?
Cartman: [He stops in his tracks.] What? Well, that does sound pretty good.)

(Cartman: [pleading] Mom, tell them! Tell them I'm not fat, I'm just big-boned! Tell them all those stories about how everyone in your family was big as a child but then grew into their bodies!
Liane: Oh, sweetie, those were all lies. You're just fat. [Cartman is stunned. A piece of Pop Toasties falls on the floor])
-exposes him to sex and drugs regularly
in the 2014 stick of truth game her room have a bong and crack ((note: she said in an episode 2 years prior that she quit drugs when getting arrested, so either she is a lair, relapsed, or the show is being inconsistent again))
(Butters: This is where the magic happens... Last week Cartman's mom was here with a few men having a whole lot of magic. She was doing hand magic and butt magic....)
I just remembered in jakovasaurous Liane is seen in bed with 2 men and a bong while Cartman is in the living room.
when I was a kid, I honestly thought timmy was just a spoiled kid, but as I got older I realized I was in a similar predicament, having wealthy but absent parents they would always try to buy my love and happiness which resulted in me being spoiled but still miserable, trying to distract myself with monetary values because I didn’t know anywhere else I could find that happiness. People don’t take child neglect as seriously as they should, it really fucks you up.
Reminder Family Guy tried to justify Megs abuse
bro really? abuse is abuse, no matter the kid
@@thestallioncreaturaI have never watched family guy, but it doesn’t sound too far off. It isn’t unheard of for novelists, comic or tv writers to bend over backwards trying to justify child abuse if someone points out a parent in their story is abusive.
“If you’re alive you got parents.”
Me; *looking at my parents graves.* well, I had parents
The mom from Phineas and Ferb needs to catch the fade next, too. She was deadass neglectful and dismissive of her daughter and secretly making literally whole comedy bits based on everything Candace tells her happened when she wasn't home (which is often, yes I know she has a job n shit, but still), essentially ridiculing and making fun of her. F that B.
Linda? Why
Linda is the worst of the worst
And some episodes when I find out about Phineas and Ferb she punish them like they sell drugs instead of realizing that their kids are such geniuses
Do you have any idea how many times Candace failed to show Linda the inventions? I can’t really blame Linda for this.
But a doctor tells Mr and Mrs Turner that they finally have a baby son
Shows like family guy don’t understand that child abuse isn’t funny bc almost every time the joke isn’t “haha child abuse is bad”. The joke is “haha these parents r abusing their kids that don’t deserve it”
I h8 it when cartoons have shit parents and portray them and their abuse/neglect as “comedy”
Eh, the entire point of family guy is crude as shit like that. It’s not meant to be taken seriously to begin with.
If you want to watch a show that maturely tackles the subject of abuse in a serious manner, family guy has no business even being on the horizon.
Not excusing abuse obviously.

I’m so glad Homer and Marge Simpson are not on there
Homer should be on there because he lowered the bar the first time he strangled Bart.

Instead of finding new friends, he has Moe the bartender ram a new crayon back up into his brain to dumb him back down.

Who else remembers the episode when Cartman's mom aloud him to join a disabled Olympic for kids😢
9:34 theres actually a theory that cosmo and wanda are actually timmys parents
I like that theory
